Yang Aiming, 38, a native of Tuzhai Village, Huacong Town, Enyang District, has loved singing and dancing since childhood. Since participating in the performance in the form of anti-string in March 2013, he has fallen in love with the art of anti-string.
On the day of the interview, Yang Aiming brought cosmetics and ancient costumes to lead the reporter to a dance studio in the Hongyan community of Bazhou District. I heard that Yang Aiming was going to perform in the community, and many people came early to wait. At the scene, it was her sister Luo Xinyue who gave Yang Aiming makeup, and she was also responsible for every performance makeup. The reporter saw that the makeup box next to him contained more than 20 kinds of makeup tools such as puffs, eyeshadow brushes, lipsticks, and blush brushes. Because he likes to sing and dance, Yang Aiming gave his screen name as: Song and Dance.
The disabled are determined to move forward with their dreams
The reporter found that when Yang Aiming performed, his body was almost supported by his right foot, and his left foot was just tiptoeing, thinking that this was a way of performing. After the performance, it was only then that he learned that he had injured his left foot. "My left foot is only half-cut and I have a hard time dancing every time." Yang Aiming hardly hides his "shortcomings", but answers other people's questions optimistically.
In 2000, When Yang Aiming, then 18 years old, was working in a foreign country, he was injured in his left foot due to factory equipment, and in order to save his life, he had to cut off half of his foot. "When I woke up, I found that I was only half a foot and it felt like the whole sky had collapsed." Yang Aiming said.
Sadness, sadness, and despair envelop Yang Aiming, who often shed tears and sadness at night. By chance, Yang Aimin saw that his hunched parents were also quietly wiping away tears behind their backs. "My parents broke their hearts for my business, and I must cheer up." Yang Aiming seems to understand things in an instant, change his pessimistic mentality, and actively cooperate with treatment. In order to be able to get back on his feet, Yang Aiming kept practicing with crutches, fell down and got up, fell down and got up, even if he fell to the head and bleeding, he was not discouraged and gave up. After three months of rehabilitation, Yang Aiming can walk without crutches.

After returning to his hometown, Yang Aiming learned to get a haircut while learning to sing, and later opened a barber shop through his own efforts. "The store is not big, only more than 20 square meters, I am alone in the store, in addition to haircuts, other times are singing and dancing." Yang Aiming said.
Due to his physical disability, Yang Aiming is not as flexible as before, and often falls down during practice. "The left foot can't be forced, the body is supported by the right foot, and the range of dancing can't be too large, so I choose a more elegant classical dance." Yang Aiming said.
Now, from the first performance of the anti-string, 7 years have passed, Yang Aiming insists on practicing every day. The practice of basic skills is even more difficult, hand-eye-body steps, and every movement requires one by one. "As a boy, the body is inherently limited, and there is no softness that the girl's body has, so it takes a lot of practice to achieve the softness that girls have." Yang Aiming said.
In order to practice the eyes to have both the subtlety of an ancient woman and the charm of the spirit, Yang Aiming held up a candle in his hand and placed it in front of him, and used his eyes to stare at the flickering flame to practice subtle and flexible eyes; when singing, the breath should be even, he would sing to the candle fire, because the uniform breath would not blow out the candle fire; in order to walk steadily, he walked with a fan on his head every day; in order to practice Yang Yuhuan's small hanging hand, he spent a long time every day pressing the joints on his hand to make his hand softer than a woman's hand.
Kung Fu pays off, over the years of persistent practice, Yang Aiming gradually became famous in the circle, many times invited to participate in some commercial activities in Bazhong performances, with the Hongyan Community Cultural Service Team to the countryside to perform. What makes him most happy is that he had the honor to participate in the 2017 Pakistan-China Folk Spring Festival Gala Audition. "Although I lost the election in the end, I am still very happy, and on the anti-string road, I will continue to forge ahead." Yang Aiming said.
Doubts remain pursued
The performances on the stage often win the praise of the audience, and in life, some people do not understand the art of anti-stringing, and some people say that Yang Aiming is "girly". Walking on the street in classical women's clothing has attracted the strange eyes of many people. "This man is neither a man nor a woman." There is often talk behind people's backs. At first, Yang Aiming would patiently explain to others, and later he didn't bother to explain and let others talk about it.
In Yang Aiming's view, art has no gender distinction, and men and women have a long history of transvestite performances. From the stage performances of Cantonese opera and Peking Opera to various opera arts, it is the norm for male and female actors to reverse strings. On the one hand, it is taboo that men and women cannot perform on the same stage, and on the other hand, the scarcity of theater talents has caused the stage phenomenon of gender perversion.
Communicate with the little ones
Although he was questioned, Yang Aiming still "went his own way" on the anti-string road. However, the anti-string performance did not increase Yang Aiming's income, but delayed his haircut work. "I spend most of my time in anti-string performances, and my parents and friends have advised me to run a barbershop well, but whenever there is a performance, I will close my doors and go to the performance." Yang Aiming said, "Sometimes a performance is less than 100 yuan, and some are still free, but I am still very happy." ”
In the past, Yang Aiming hoped to become an anti-string star like Li Yugang, but later I thought that this dream was too big and might not be able to reach it with his own ability.
