During the squatting period, we were touched and encouraged by the power of another "seed" - that is, a grassroots poverty alleviation cadre who worked silently.
As commanders and fighters who rushed to the forefront of poverty alleviation, they abandoned their homes and went to the backwoods of poor villages to stay in the villages, sacrificing their personal lives, income, holidays, careers, and health, and some even unfortunately lost their lives, just in exchange for the smile of their fathers and fellow villagers getting rid of poverty.
The stories of several young people are admirable.
Dressed in Zhuang costume and holding a bundle of courier slips, he introduced "ninety-nine forts of rice from our village" to the guests - those who did not know thought he was a villager, and he was Luo Mingkao, the first secretary of the Propaganda Department of the Longlin County Party Committee stationed in Yanhuai Village, Jieting Township.
In 2016, when Luo Mingkao was stationed in the village, he went up the mountain to work for the development of the village, and found that the local high-quality rice was abundant, but the price was low. Knowing that Guangxi Television Station had a counter displaying famous and excellent agricultural products, he carried a bag of rice on his back and set off.
"After a day's drive, it was early in the morning when I arrived in Nanning. To save on accommodation, I spent the night on a stone bench on the street. Luo Mingkao happily told reporters that the rice was successfully exhibited, and the TV station also released a public service advertisement for it, gradually opening up the market.
But that's not enough. At the China-ASEAN Expo that year, Luo Mingkao cooked rice and shouted on the spot, and the fragrant rice "incense" poured down many audiences and merchants.
Scale planting, exquisite packaging, e-commerce sales... Nowadays, "Ninety-Nine Fort Rice" has gradually become a brand, orders from all over the world have flown like snowflakes, and farmers who have planted fields for a lifetime have finally "enjoyed the blessings of rice" and have successively embarked on the road to poverty alleviation. Last year, When Romingkao was stationed in the village, the villagers collectively retained him, and he gladly stayed.
Poverty alleviation at the grassroots level is full of difficulties and difficulties, but there is always a group of people who persist and struggle. In Longlin, there are not a few first secretaries who have returned to their posts after one term.
Xiangyang Village, Gebu Township, which has more than 90 kilometers of mountain roads from the county seat, can be called "the poorest and farthest village in Longlin". In 2012, Lu Zhongkang, a cadre of the county health bureau, came here as the first secretary and led the villagers to plant more than 700 mu of kudzu root, but due to climate and other reasons, the yield was not high and the efficiency was not good.
After returning to his post at the end of his two-year term, Lu Zhongkang continued to help the development of the village in various ways. At the beginning of 2018, the unit again selected the first secretary of the village, and he asked Miao to return to Xiangyang Village.
This time, Lu Zhongkang mobilized the villagers to change to the Chinese herbal medicine Evodia, and at present, more than 300 mu of Evodia are growing happily, and it is expected to achieve a collective income of 300,000 yuan in the village. He also introduced the company and the villagers' cooperative to build a 10,000 cattle breeding base, which is expected to increase the income of the people by more than 2 million yuan.
"Poverty alleviation without industry, it is difficult to get rich for a long time." Yang Ke, county magistrate of Longlin Autonomous County, told reporters that after investigation and demonstration, the local government believes that planting mulberry silkworms is suitable for most mountainous areas.
In the case that many farmers do not know anything about silkworms, Wang Caiqin, deputy director of the county agricultural and rural bureau and director of the sericulture industry office, has taken on the heavy responsibility of promotion. From scratch, from small to large, after thousands of efforts, longlin mulberry silkworm has now developed to more than 60,000 mu, benefiting thousands of households in more than 10 townships.
"When you see the results, there is only happiness; the hardships are not worth mentioning." Wang Caiqin said happily. In the busy, a pair of wide and long clothes accompanied this thin woman, running towards the green mulberry field, the small body, as if it had inexhaustible energy.
The stories of grassroots poverty alleviation cadres are far more than that. What we see is that they are busy all day; what we can't see is behind them, and they are ordinary like you and me, there are old and young families, life is not easy, some families have suffered misfortune, some children have been sick for a long time, and some old people have been bedridden for many years... But they still marched with firm footsteps and sonorous in the villages full of hope.
This is the peasants' ardent expectation of "planting a grain of millet in the spring and harvesting ten thousand seeds in the autumn", and it is also the seed feeling of the poverty alleviation cadres that "success does not have to be in me, success must have me".
