Three new species of insects of the family Buaceae were found in Huangshan, Anhui

Huangshan, May 21 (China News Service) -- When the Huangshan Scenic Area Management Committee and Anhui University and South China Agricultural University cooperated to investigate the resources of wild insects, three new species of insects of the family Buaceae were recently discovered near the Huangshan Immortal Cave, and the relevant research results were published in the internationally renowned animal taxonomy journal ZooKeys.

The three new species discovered this time all belong to insects of the family Bujia, and are named Xiaoshen Cave StepJia, Huangshan Anhui Cave Bujia and Tiara Foot armor.

It is worth mentioning that the small god cave step armor is not only a new species, but also represents a new genus - the god cave step nail genus. The genus is characterized by a small body size, nearly candibal antennae, and a large spacing between the fifth and sixth hair holes in the jagged middle micro-concave at the base edge of the coleoptera.
