Director J.J. Abrabbs belongs to Bad Robot Games Studios recently announced that it has received a $40 million Series B investment.
The investment was led by venture capital firm Galaxy Interactive, with the remaining companies participating in the round including Horizon Ventures, Iconiq Capital and Tencent.
Ana Sweet, CEO of the studio, said: "With these investments, we can build both in-house and joint development actions, as well as create games based on a variety of IP-based platforms. ”
In addition, former Blizzard employee Joe Ramsy, who had worked on World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2, joined the studio as technical director; former avalanche studios employee Oneil Howel, who worked on the development of JustI 4, joined the studio as a senior set designer.
