Marshal He Long is also from Hunan, because his family is poor, He Long was dropped out of school after reading books for a few years, but people are poor but not poor, and He Long, who fights small, is a person who dares to fight injustice, so he is also well known in the local area, and many evil forces are a little frightened to hear his name.
In 1927, due to He Long's outstanding performance in the Northern Expedition, he was promoted to the commander of the Twentieth Army of the National Revolutionary Army, but in the course of the subsequent revolution, He Long slowly changed his faith and eventually believed in communism.
The "April 12" counter-revolutionary coup was undoubtedly a disaster for our Party, but at this very moment He Long chose to side with our Communist Party of China and led and participated in the August 1st Nanchang Uprising, and he was the commander-in-chief.
Subsequently, He Long, together with Zhou Yiqun and Duan Dechang, also created the Red Second Army and the Revolutionary Base Area in Western Hunan and Hubei, and during the War of Resistance Against Japan, He Long served as the commander of the 120th Division, one of the three main divisions of the Eighth Route Army, and the 120th Division, under the command of He Long, fought very beautifully in the subsequent War of Resistance Against Japan, achieved many good results, and also successfully opened up the anti-Japanese base area in northwestErn Jin.
During the Liberation War, Comrade He Long was responsible for the financial and economic work of Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningbo and Jinsui, and also carried out a strong land reform reform, thus making important contributions to the victory of the Northwest Liberation War.
In addition, He Long, together with Liu Bocheng and others, led the work of eliminating bandits, and made great contributions to the peaceful liberation of Tibet and the liberation of the Great Southwest and the construction of the Great Southwest.
After the founding of New China, Comrade He Long served as vice chairman of the Southwest Military and Political Committee, commander of the Southwest Military Region, third secretary of the Southwest Bureau of the CPC, vice premier of the State Council, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, member of the Political Bureau of the CENTRAL Committee, and director of the National Defense Industry Commission.
Marshal He Long is also the pioneer and founder of China's socialist sports cause, he also served as the director of the State Sports Commission, in addition to assisting Premier Zhou in many visits to Eurasian countries.
However, it is regrettable that during the special period, Marshal He Long also suffered many twists and turns, coupled with his poor health at that time, suffering from diabetes, etc., and finally died of illness on June 9, 1969, at the age of 73.
However, in 2009, Marshal He Long's ashes were suddenly moved out of Babaoshan and subsequently buried in his hometown of Zhangjiajie, in fact, because this is the hometown complex that we Chinese, and the fallen leaves are rooted in this reason.
