Once, as soon as the military trumpet sounded, enthusiastic young people came from all over the world. In the barracks, a deep friendship was formed. The annual rings are turning, the military flag is still flying, but the veterans have dispersed the north and south of the river. Only because of the barrier of mountains and rivers, inconvenient communication, relocation of addresses, and the loss of comrades-in-arms, it has become a pity.
In May 2020, Toutiao Tracing Joined Forces with Toutiao Military to jointly launch the #Old Comrades, Are You Okay # public welfare project, which will use the power of technology and platforms to find missing comrades and help veterans reunite with their comrades.
On June 24, veteran Cheng Jian'an got in touch with toutiao to help find his comrade-in-arms Zhang Bao (Bao) Hua. The relevant information is summarized below, I hope you can help forward it, and help them reunite through the love relay.

For decades, I have always wanted to find Zhang Baohua, a comrade-in-arms of the same company. It's been too old, and the word in the middle of his name, whether it's "bao" or "bao", I can't remember it clearly.
I joined the army in 1975 and retired in 1980. Zhang Bao (Bao) Hua was a little later than me, probably in 1976. His father was an air force, grew up in the air force, and his personality was relatively straightforward and easy-going, and he got along well with his comrades-in-arms. My father was also a cadre, and the similar family background brought the two of us closer. Whether it is vision, opinion, or values, they are more close to him, so the relationship is quite good.
In the beginning, we were in the same class. Later, he went to the fifth class as the class leader, and I became the class leader in the second class. I was a little older than him, so he called me the second eldest, and I called him the younger fifth son.
We were in the car company, carrying the transport of the whole regiment, and the most daily work was to drive ammunition, tents and various supplies. At that time, the life of the troops was relatively monotonous, and the transportation back was generally cleaned and put into production, and there was nothing vigorous.

This photo of him (see above) was taken at the Shanghai Shooting Range in 1977. He took off his military hat and military uniform and held it in his hand. Behind him was a small river and a swarm of reeds. Because it was winter, the reeds dried up a bit. At that time, we were in our early 20s; now, we are all Ben Seven.

When I retired in 1980, we saw each other for the last time. After that, they lost contact. He should have retired from the army around 1982, and his father transferred to Ji'an, Jiangxi, and he should have gone to Ji'an after he retired.
Over the years, the comrades who joined the army together have been almost found. He alone has not heard from him. I hope that in my lifetime, I will find him and get together again.
