Born on July 21, 1991, Franklin is a 1.96m tall player who plays as a shooting guard. Initially in his career, he briefly played for the Memphis Grizzlies before landing in the CBA in the 2014–15 season, where he played for Guangsha, Shanxi and Sichuan.
It is worth mentioning that in the 2019 Shanxi vs Xinjiang team, Franklin scored 42 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists and 10 steals, achieving a "four-double" achievement, becoming the third player in the history of the CBA to obtain a four-double.
