According to the Fujian Daily and new Fujian app, the field monitoring of the Lelongqi Mountain Nature Reserve was reported again recently, and a new record of moth distribution was found - the shallow-winged phoenix moth.
Researchers have found a butterfly-like moth near the main peak of Longqi Mountain, identified by experts as the shallow-winged phoenix moth (epicopeia hainesi sinicaria ;leech), which is a new distribution record of moths in the reserve, adding a new family to the distribution of Longqi Mountain, which has certain significance for further study of fauna.
According to reports, the shallow-winged anchovy belongs to the genus of anchovies of the lepidoptera family, with thin forewing scales, gray-brown wing membranes, and ochre-colored wing veins; hindwing wing veins are yellow-brown, with 4 red dots on the inside of the tail band. Its morphology simulates the musk butterfly known as the "poisonous gate", the musk butterfly takes the poisonous aristolochia as the host, and the poisonous attribute makes the natural enemy abandon, so that the shallow-winged phoenix moth can "fox false tiger power". The shallow-winged angustrome is mainly distributed in Zhejiang, Sichuan, Hubei, Fujian, Guangxi, Taiwan and other places in China, and it is also found in Japan.
