"Bird Love Week" is an activity carried out by China to protect birds and maintain the natural ecological balance. Jiangsu Province designates April 20-26 as "Bird Love Week" every year. "Pay attention to the migration of migratory birds and maintain the community of life" is the theme of this year's "Bird Love Week" in Jiangsu Province. This year's "Bird Love Week" activities were hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Forestry Bureau, the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Green gardens and gardens, the Shanghai Office of the Import and Export Administration Office of the People's Republic of China on Endangered Species, and hosted by the Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo.

Starting from April 20, the highlight of Bird Love Week, the third "Aurora Cup" Urban Bird Watching Competition, will soon start, and the public can follow 50 professional "bird friends" to watch birds, and may have unexpected discoveries - 126 bird species were recorded in the 20 hours of the first Nanjing City Bird Watching Competition in 2017, including the internationally endangered bird species yellow-breasted bunting, the fringed sandpiper [yù] rarely seen in Nanjing in April, and the Aurora crows and finches known as the "pandas in birds" were found and recorded; the second "Aurora Cup" in 2018 was found and recorded. A few years ago, the total population distribution in the eastern region of China may not exceed 100 curly-feathered pelicans appeared along the coast of Lianyungang, and when they learned from bird friends that this bird appeared, Xin Yi could not sit still. She took a bus to Lianyungang, but the car broke down on the road.

She urged the driver to temporarily help her find a car to continue to Lianyungang, and then rushed to the beach with the help of local bird friends, at this time the tide was gradually receding, and all she could see through the telescope was the "back shadow" of the curly-feathered pelican drifting farther and farther.

If it is really a lost bird, after taking it home, don't let it rely on you, and release it back to nature is the purpose of rescue.

Xin Yi said that every year before the arrival of spring, when migratory birds choose their mates, they will change into beautiful wedding feathers to prepare for breeding and long-distance migration.

In April, migratory birds appear in clusters, and in Nanjing, there are cuckoos, yellow orioles, shou belts and various herons. Of these summer migratory birds, two are relatively rare. When it comes to the bird species that bird friends are most looking forward to, we have to say that the fairy eight-colored bird (also known as the eight-colored bird), it is colorful in color, has a noble status in the bird world, and belongs to the "global limited" level of VIP. The FairyBird has been identified as a globally endangered bird and a national second-class protected animal.
