Since the end of 2015, the movable cultural relics of the Yangxin Hall have completed the systematic relocation. Various aspects of the research have achieved phased results. At the beginning of 2018, the Ministry of Ancient Construction completed the design of the conservation plan and entrusted it to the Engineering Management Office to be responsible for the specific repair and implementation. The Agency carried out simultaneous declaration of design proposals and preparation procedures for repair construction. Since the State Administration of Cultural Heritage approved the implementation of the project in May 2018, the Agency has initiated the compilation of the bill of quantities and cost of the project, and at the same time began to study and search for the traditional materials needed for repair, covering Beijing, Hebei, Anhui, Nanjing, Shanxi, Jiangsu and other places. Through field visits and expert demonstrations, a material supply base for gold bricks and gold leaf was established. Preliminary confirmation of the production process and quality identification standards of mulberry paper required for repair, and found a bamboo paper making workshop that is on the verge of being lost... Since then, the research protection and repair project of Yangxindian has entered the implementation stage in an all-round way.
