Just arrived in Taizhou Jiaojiang, I heard a few years ago on the Internet "make a fuss" boiling, "Dachen Island Pippi shrimp as long as five yuan a pound" story, to be honest, at first I did not believe it, but since there was an official confirmation afterwards, it should be true. Unfortunately, the time I came was not coincidental, just past the time when Phi Phi shrimp was on the market, otherwise I would definitely have to verify it on the island.
Dachen Island is composed of "Upper Dachen Island" and "Lower Dachen Island", located in the East China Sea more than 50 kilometers southeast of Jiaojiang District, Taizhou, and belongs to the Taizhou Archipelago. From 1956 to the present, Dachen Island has undergone earth-shaking changes from scratch. Although the area of "Lower Dachen Island" is smaller, the environment is more livable, and it is now the location of Dachen Town. After reporting to the relevant departments on the island, the small plane only rose to more than two hundred meters in the sky, and it was almost possible to see the whole picture of the town.
Slightly surprised, Dachen Island turned out to be the third largest fishing ground in Zhejiang Province, and the surrounding fishery resources were quite rich, known as the "Pearl of the East China Sea". Among the many islands and reefs, there are groupers, black seabream, pike crabs, seven-star eels, tiger head fish and other well-known fish at home and abroad, so every time the "fish flood season", Dachen Island is a scene of thousands of sails gathered, masts like a forest, it is said that after night, the fishing fire is endless, it is even more spectacular.
In fact, the most "famous" seafood of Dachen Island is yellow fish, after years of exploration, local fishermen have been able to skillfully use cage culture, copper net around the sea and other methods, turning "Dachen yellow fish" into a business card of the local marine economy. After staying in Jiaojiang for a few days, I have also tasted the delicious taste of fresh yellow fish many times, so if friends come here for business or tourism, don't miss it.
Unfortunately, I did not stay on the island for a long time on this trip, braving the scorching sun, rushing here to the largest yellow fish breeding base, and I could not see the "live yellow croaker". I heard that the best time to catch them is at night, and there are also requirements for temperature, which will affect the "yellow" substance on the yellow fish.

From the perspective of aerial photography, the surrounding area of "Xia Da Chen Island" is dotted with many square round cages, and in the blue sea, it is like a piece of beautiful "jewelry", which makes people breathtaking. Of course, the surrounding waters of Dachen Island are suitable for the "reproduction" of many different biological populations, so the aquaculture industry here is thriving.
As a person who likes to eat and take pictures, Dachen Island not only satisfies my taste buds, but also makes the camera lens really addictive. If you have enough time, shoot the "farm" next to you, which should be a more interesting theme.
