On 2 February, Arsenal's official website announced that the club recalled matt Smith, a young midfielder who played for Swindon on loan for the first half of the season, and transferred him to Charlton, who is also in League One.
Matt Smith, 20, has trained at the Gunners academy since U9 and played primarily for Arsenal's U23 last season and trained with the first team a few times, and has been on the official list six times, including the FA Cup final win over Chelsea.
Arsenal hope Matt Smith will continue to gain training and experience through the game.
