On the morning of the same day, at the Yangxing Antimony Factory in Zhenshang Town, Zuo Zhifeng listened to the rectification briefings of relevant responsible comrades such as environmental protection and Zhenshang Town while walking, inquired in detail about the situation of the closure and rectification of the antimony factory and the treatment of sewage waste residue, pointed out the hidden dangers, and demanded that the production furnace and other equipment that were not dismantled according to the requirements should be immediately dismantled and put in place, and the waste residue dumping point should be strengthened and prevent leakage treatment.
During the inspection, Zuo Zhifeng stressed that it is necessary to earnestly improve the political position, tighten the responsibility of compaction, in the process of rectification and reform, enterprises should bear the main responsibility, relevant departments and Zhenshang Town should perform their supervision responsibilities, strictly follow the requirements of supervision and rectification, benchmark against the table, and vigorously grasp the implementation of rectification and reform with a high degree of political consciousness. Environmental protection departments should do a good job in monitoring water quality and air, conduct scientific demonstration, come up with practical and feasible rectification plans, and promote rectification work according to time nodes. At the rectification points of the Shicha Village Brick Factory and the Wantang Village Brick Factory in Baixi Town, Zuo Zhifeng demanded after on-site inspection that Baixi Town should clean up the white waste and ground attachments of the Shicha Village Brick Factory in a timely manner, level the abandoned brick kilns and restore vegetation, and the environmental protection, natural resources and other departments should strengthen supervision and control to ensure that the rectification and reform are in place. In Wantang Village, Zuo Zhifeng saw that a new village office building had been built on the original site of the rectification of the abandoned brick factory, and when he inquired about it, he learned that the land originally transferred by the brick factory had also been returned to the farmers and planted soybeans and other crops. He demanded that Baixi Town and relevant departments should strengthen the promotion of this good experience and practice and learn from other rectification projects.
