Immersed in technical research, 20 years of achievement of "worker academician"
In 1999, Hu Sheng, who was just 25 years old, was introduced as a special talent, and as soon as he went to work, the leader took him to a lathe and told him that this was a turning center worth more than 2 million yuan imported from Germany, but because no one could operate, it had been "sleeping" for more than 3 years. After careful observation, Hu Sheng said with great confidence that there was no lathe that could not be driven.
He flipped through the materials, consulted experts, pondered painstakingly, from morning to evening, one key after another to explore, the result, more than a month to start the equipment. On this German-made machine, Hu Sheng processed many high-precision parts and practiced a good technique.
In 2006, about 110,000 people participated in the national numerical control competition, and during the competition, the players were required to make a set of parts and components in accordance with the drawings provided by the competition within 7 hours to test the players' ability to recognize maps, compile programs, and use tools reasonably. After the results of the competition came out, Hu Sheng stood out among the 110,000 people in the country and won the championship trophy. In the same year, the Hu Sheng Innovation Group was established, and Hu Sheng became the leader of the research team, looking for the most effective, reasonable and economical method for each production task. But in Hu Sheng's view, he is still a worker who can sharpen knives, drive lathes, and build products.
The Air Police 2000 early warning aircraft is a large-scale early warning aircraft developed by China itself and praised by the Chinese people as a "gas fighting machine", which made its first public appearance in the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the processing and production of key components of this radar was completed by Hu Sheng's team.
At first, the Air Police 2000 early warning aircraft in the foreign cooperation, the radar filter structural parts production but encountered a technical bottleneck, the first batch of processing samples sent to foreign countries for testing, was listed more than 50 problems. In order to catch up with the advanced level of foreign countries, Hu Sheng read materials day and night, consulted with his peers, and started experiments. After more than two months of research, finally solved the problem, the team he led not only processed qualified filter structural parts, but also broke the foreign technical blockade, laying the foundation for the development and production of the Chinese nation's "gas radar".
Over the years, Hu Sheng has undertaken more than 70 key scientific research projects with international advanced level, such as airborne fire control, airborne early warning, shipborne fire control, and starborne, and overcome technical problems such as one-time turning of corrugated tubes of millimeter-wave radar and processing and deformation of reflective surfaces of airborne fire control radar. He also put forward more than 30 suggestions for technological innovation and rationalization, especially in the macro program programming module of CNC vehicles, turning and milling one-time processing and forming, etc., developed many unique methods, which greatly improved production efficiency and saved nearly 10 million yuan in scientific research funds.

The ultimate "instinct" is deeply rooted in people's hearts
Hu Sheng, who had just passed the age of confusion, was collectively called "Lao Hu" by all levels, and even his apprentices called him this way, not because they were disrespectful, but because this title was too kind and trusting.
From a junior worker to a senior technician, Hu Sheng only took 15 years, which is what ordinary people need 25 years of experience to achieve. Behind the success, Hu Sheng paid too much.
"Processing qualified parts, the operator's feel requirements are extremely high, if the force is too large, it will be deformed, and the force is too small to make a shape." Lao Hu's feel in this regard is really pure fire, the same procedure, the same lathe, Lao Hu's efficiency is always superior. Zhang Lisong, head of the second group of the 14th Institute of NUMERICAL Control, told reporters that others are resting, Hu Sheng always repeatedly conducts experimental operations and studies processing technology again and again, and it is this long-term accumulation that makes the measure on Hu Sheng's hand "not bad by a fraction of a centimeter."
Song Bin is Hu Sheng's apprentice and once won the first place in the Nanjing CNC Competition. Once the night shift processed a batch of urgent parts, and the task was very heavy. Hu Sheng happened to be sick and resting, and Song Bin, who was accustomed to having a master sitting in town, seemed to have lost his main heart and was anxious. When he was in a hurry, Hu Sheng called a phone call, which immediately made Song Bin calm down and complete the task well under the remote guidance of the master.
Teach by example the "great ship of innovation" to go far
Kang Yurong was one of Hu Sheng's apprentices. As the saying goes, "Teach the disciple, starve the master", but Lao Hu did not think so. Not only did he not hide it, but he was also eager to teach his own experience to Kang Yurong. Hu Sheng is well versed in "a single tree is difficult to become a forest, a flower is not spring", for the small friends who "asked him for advice", he always poured out his experience and experience, and never "left a hand".
Under the careful tutelage of Lao Hu, Kang Yurong only took three weeks to "quickly". What is more interesting is that Kang Yurong also played the advantage of being good at programming, changing the program that originally needed to be manually entered into automatic operation to liberate people from the side of the machine, and this innovative move won Hu Shenglian to praise him as "blue out of blue and better than blue". Kang Yurong laughed and said, "Actually, I am standing on Lao Hu's shoulders doing things, of course, I can see far." ”
Since Hu Sheng stepped into the position of section chief, he has become the "bellwether" of a team of more than 50 people, and Hu Sheng has regarded the intergenerational inheritance of stunts as a top priority. He summarized his work experience and processing skills, and compiled more than 20 books such as the "Antenna CNC Machining Work Instruction Book" to share with colleagues.
In 2012, the national skill master studio named after Hu Sheng was launched. Under the leadership and guidance of Hu Sheng, a batch of high-skilled talents have emerged, who have not only become the technical backbone of various positions, but also gained fruitful results in various skill competitions in provinces, cities and even the whole country. In the past 8 years, in the national, provincial and municipal CNC competitions, a total of 35 team members have entered the top three. The team also won the honorary titles of "Jiangsu Province Youth Civilization" and "Central Enterprise Youth Civilization", and in 2015, the third factory where Comrade Hu Sheng was located also won the honor of "National Model Worker Small Family" issued by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions.
