On April 21, the first press conference of the 10th Zaozhuang City Games was held in the press conference hall of the municipal government. The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Sports Bureau introduced the competition items of the Games, the progress of preparations, etc., and answered questions from reporters.
It is reported that the opening and closing ceremonies of the 10th Zaozhuang City Games are scheduled to be held in the Xincheng Cultural and Sports Center in mid-September. The Games adopt the mode of "government-led, departmental coordination, social participation, and market operation" to further create a strong atmosphere of national fitness, continue to enhance the satisfaction of mass sports life; promote the high-quality development of youth sports, and continuously improve the level of competitive sports in the city; further promote the national fitness movement, popularize scientific fitness skills, expand the proportion of sports population, cultivate and expand sports consumer groups, and promote the high-quality development of urban transformation in our city.
At the press conference, the emblem, anthem, mascot and slogan of the 10th Games were announced. Among them, through the abstract deformation of the artistic technique, the emblem majestically sprinkles out the letters "zz" and the number "10" composed of torches and sports human figures, and the overall shape intuitively and accurately conveys the cultural connotation of the 10th Zaozhuang Games and the profound cultural heritage of Zaozhuang, highlights the tension and strong visual impact of the movement, and organically integrates the visual symbols such as the athletes who are striving for progress, the burning torch, the Olympic flame that sprays thin and forward, the green mountains and green waters, showing the new era style of positive enterprising and pioneering innovation. The mascot is refined and simplified with elements such as "running New Year painting dolls, coal mines, canal water, auspicious clouds, and red culture", highlighting the strong Chinese style and distinct Zaozhuang geographical indications and cultural heritage, which have both the tension and unrestrained power of movement, and have great visual impact.
According to reports, the Games set up two groups, the Youth Group and the Mass Sports Group, and held a total of 38 competitions, with 4 more projects than the Ninth Games. Among them, 18 projects were set up in the youth group and 20 projects were set up in the mass sports group. On April 29th, the first competition event of the Municipal Tenth Games, the Youth Weightlifting Competition, will be held at the Municipal Sports School, opening the curtain of the Tenth Games.
