This should have praised his frugal spirit is the right thing to do. But I was amazed at why his towel was so durable.
I really wanted to ask him how he did it, but maybe it was his old man's trade secret, and he might not be willing to tell me. Moreover, we can't touch it.
The funny thing is that within a few years I figured out a way to greatly increase the life of the towel I had on hand. Among them, there is a towel, which I bought in the summer of 2011 in a supermarket in a Taiwanese factory in Wuhan, and it can still be used today, as shown in the following figure.

The service of this towel is as follows: I used it as a pillow towel for the first two years. Then, as my hair wash towel, it followed me north and south. In the five years from the summer of 2013 to the summer of 2018, in addition to Tibet, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, I have taken it to punch cards in the rest of the capital cities in the country, and I must use it to wipe my hair, never stopping. From the summer of 2018 to new Year's Day in 2021, I traveled by car, and it has been idle in my hometown. After the Spring Festival of 2021, it is re-enabled as a smear tablecloth for the study so far.
This towel can be used for so long, in addition to the excellent quality, the main reason is because I have adopted the method of dividing the towel. That is, wipe your head, wipe your face (usually a small towel), and wipe yourself with a special towel.
Using the above method, the headscarf is the most durable, with more than six years of no problem; the body towel is second, with more than five years of no problem; the face towel can generally only be used for three to four years (it may also be because the small towel is not as good as the quality of the large towel).
