Chinese students in Australia had a heartbreaking love affair, first expelled by the landlord and then expelled from school

Cheng Cheng, a Chinese student who has now successfully graduated from RMIT In Australia, is preparing to apply for skilled immigration as a student of engineering. Not long ago, a colleague of the AOChina Group told me that he has now completely transformed into a mature, cheerful, and self-motivated young man, who has long faded the spirit of a student and knows how to rationally plan and arrange his life.

When I heard about it, I was very happy for Cheng Cheng, and I was glad that 3 years ago, our (Melbourne) Chinese Student Emergency Assistance Center reached out to him. At that time, Cheng Cheng was already a sophomore at a university in Melbourne, he made a lively and beautiful girlfriend in his freshman year, more than a year of love time, there must be beautiful moments, but more often, it is two young children who do not understand the world when they are not very good at handling intimate relationships, mistakenly think that noisy is vigorous love, so every day bursts out endless contradictions.

For more than a year, they experienced dozens of breakups, the last time because it was Cheng Cheng's fault, in order to save the girl who was going to pack up and leave, he slammed his head against the wall and cried loudly, trying to make the girl soft in a way that hurt himself. However, such behavior not only did not keep the girl, but also frightened other roommates who were renting in a house, believing that Cheng Cheng's personality was extremely dangerous. In the end, the landlord had to persuade Cheng Cheng to leave and no longer rent to him. To make matters worse, because Cheng Cheng has long been immersed in love-hate entanglement with his girlfriend and often misses class, the school finally decided to cancel his student visa as a dissuasion. Overnight, Cheng Cheng had nothing...

Cornered, I don't know where I can go, and I feel faceless to face my parents. When all his thoughts were gone, he thought of the (Melbourne) Emergency Assistance Center for Chinese Students, and when our staff received the request for help, they immediately drove to the location of the journey and arranged temporary accommodation for him. At that time, his student visa was cancelled and he had to leave Melbourne within 2 weeks. Cheng Cheng was very unwilling and regretful, he suddenly realized that in fact, studying abroad should study well, accumulate knowledge, and precipitate himself, rather than wasting a good year for love and love all day long. He would love to continue his studies, he loves Melbourne and he wants to stay... When my colleagues in the emergency assistance center reported this to me, the first thing that came to my mind was that young people make mistakes, and it is rare to be able to realize their mistakes and grow in them. I instructed the staff to find a way to help Cheng Cheng return to school.

Since then, the staff of the Emergency Assistance Centre has helped Cheng Cheng contact the school many times, which can be described as a twist and turn, and it is gratifying that we finally helped him apply for admission to the RMIT University! All the colleagues at the Emergency Assistance Center rejoiced on the day we learned of the successful application, as we helped this child get a chance to start a new future!

When Cheng Cheng set foot on the land of Melbourne again, he said that he really felt like returning to his hometown, and our colleagues were his relatives in his hometown! In the past few years, I have received blessing messages from Cheng Cheng every spring festival and other major festivals, and I have also witnessed his story of studying hard step by step and successfully graduating. I wish Cheng Cheng and am proud that our International Student Emergency Assistance Center has helped so many Chinese students in Australia who are experiencing difficulties in the past 10 years since its establishment!

As of the beginning of this year, the number of Chinese students in Australia has reached about 200,000, a considerable part of which is enrolled in schools in the Melbourne area, not only the University of Melbourne, Monash University and other famous universities ranked in Australia's "eight" and ranked in the world's top 70, as well as the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Deakin University, Victoria University and La Trobe University and other well-known universities with a long history. I also hope that in the future, I can help more Chinese students in Australia and become their solid support in Melbourne!
