It was learned from the Agricultural Committee of Heilongjiang Province that according to the monitoring results of plant protection stations and monitoring outlets in various parts of Heilongjiang Province, combined with the comprehensive analysis of crop layout, farmland habitat and weather conditions, it is expected that the three generations of armyworm larvae will be more serious in some counties in the south-central and eastern parts of Heilongjiang Province, and local millet, corn and rice fields will be seriously harmed. The larvae will last until late August, with the control period in the central and southern regions in early August and the eastern regions from 5 August to 15 August.

This year, the three generations of armyworms in Heilongjiang Province are significantly more harmful than last year, and the focus areas are in the southern and eastern counties of Harbin City, Daqing City, Suihua City. In view of the migration habits of armyworms and the characteristics of agglomeration, concealment, and spotting outbreak hazards, it is expected that the focus will be on the occurrence of local grass shortages in the county, such as corn, millet and rice, and the emergence of high insect population density plots will be more common, and the detection and prevention and control will cause serious harm in time; at the same time, the armyworms will show the characteristics of uneven age and long duration of pests in the field this year.

For the prevention and control of armyworms, the relevant person in charge of the Heilongjiang Provincial Agricultural Commission said that according to the amount of larvae in the field and according to the control indicators, determine the plots that should be prevented and avoid blind spraying. When the number of young larvae per extended meter reaches 20 on the weeds between the corn ridges, or the average number of larvae per corn plant exceeds 50 per plant, and when the millet field and rice field reach 50 heads per square meter (20 young larvae), spray control should be carried out immediately and ensure that the spraying task is completed in a short period of time. The optimal period of administration is before the larval 3 years old, and the resistance of the larvae in the binge eating stage will be greatly enhanced after 4 years, and the dose should be increased.

In view of the long duration of the three generations of armyworm pests this year, agents with a long effective period, low toxicity and good effects such as chlorhex benzamide (Kangkuan) should be selected, so that a single application can effectively control the armyworm pest, and should be sprayed early for control. Corn field administration can also be combined with anti-panicle stage corn borer, corn large spot disease is more serious plots can be mixed with pyrazole ether ester, to achieve disease prevention and yield, "one spray multi-effect".

All localities should guide farmers to spray bt or chlorellobe benzamide on field weeds when young larvae are concentrated on corn field weeds, and spray bt to apply drugs in the larvae at 1 to 2 instars; artificial field operations should resolutely eliminate the use of highly toxic agents that may cause harm to people. Do not use pyrethroid pesticides in paddy fields, and avoid the flowering period, and avoid the use of organophosphorus pesticides in sorghum fields. When using unmanned aerial vehicles and other aerial vehicles to carry out aviation operations, all localities should add special auxiliaries for navigation to improve the prevention and control effect.
