The little beetle that Zhao Jinsuo photographed
Cui Zhiyou photographed the little beetle in the theater
A few days ago, some residents of Damao Banner reported that they could often see a small brown beetle on the side of the road when walking recently, and there were many of them, but they did not know why. At the same time, Mr. Cui, a citizen, also found several small brown beetles crawling on the floor of the theater when watching the movie recently. Why beetles appear frequently in the near future, Zhao Jinsuo, director of the Entomological Society of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, has solved the doubts of residents.
Recently, a resident of Damao Banner reported that when walking on the side of the road recently, he often saw a small beetle near the green belt, which gathered in groups and was quite numerous. In addition, the reporter also saw a forwarded video from WeChat, the shooting location is said to be the area around Baotou, in the picture on both sides of the road within a short few meters, a small beetle somehow gathered here in large numbers, the scene looks quite spectacular.
If these insects appear in large numbers, will there be any bad effects on plants? For the doubts of residents, the reporter interviewed Zhao Jinsuo, director of the Entomological Society of inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
After watching the video, Zhao Jinsuo first affirmed that the video was real, and a few days ago Zhao Jinsuo also received the same video and other videos and related pictures in his work group, and a few days ago he also received insect samples sent by Damaoqi for examination. "This insect is an insect of the Coleoptera family and has been common in many parts of Inner Mongolia since july. Through the identification of the sample provided by Damaoqi, this insect is a Chinese thrub stephead of the genus Thyramine in the family P. The common insects of the genus Bujia in Baotou area not only have Chinese Tamae, but also Gu wan bujia and Maojiao bucha, etc., and these species are also widely distributed in the country. Due to the small number of samples sent for testing, no other varieties of Tsubasa have been seen. According to recent understanding, Zhao Jinsuo made the above preliminary judgment on this phenomenon, and he said that the next step will be an in-depth investigation of the step A insects in Damao Banner.
Zhao Jinsuo introduced that the feeding habits of the Chinese thrub step beetle are relatively mixed, and it generally does not cause great harm to agricultural and animal husbandry production by eating some beetles and their larvae, planthoppers, aphids, red spiders and other organisms, as well as wheat, millet, corn and grass weed seeds. Many insects of the genus Hmongbuk are migratory, and since July, due to the influence of the monsoon climate and the suitability of the surrounding environment, the hmongbules in some distant areas will migrate and fly, forming a spectacular scene. In recent years, the migration of infantry beetles has also attracted the attention of many entomologists.
It prefers a dry environment and mostly appears on the slope walls and ridges of sandy soil. Rifle armor also has a repellent nature, and at night it is possible to "mistakenly enter" some private houses or public places, but it will not cause harm to people. Zhao Jinsuo introduced that when his colleague Cui Zhiyou was watching the movie at Shenhua Cinema on July 15, he also found several rifles on the indoor floor of the studio and took photos.
Zhao Jinsuo said that the large number of people's foot armor is only a normal natural phenomenon, not a harbinger of natural disasters, and it is harmless to people, and the general public does not need to panic.
