The sexual assault and murder of two young girls, the possession of millions of extremely pornographic images and videos in their homes, the sexual assault of at least 100 female corpses in hospital morgues, including children...
Recently, the Guardian, Sky News, BBC and other British media reported a horrific case, 67-year-old David Fuller (David Fuller) sexually assaulted and murdered two young women in 1987, and in the following decades, he used his status as a hospital electrician to sexually assault at least 100 female bodies in the morgue, the youngest victim was only 9 years old, the oldest was 100 years old.
The Royal Prosecution Service said it was an unprecedented necrophilia case in British legal history.

On June 23, 1987, wendy knell, 25, was found dead by her boyfriend at her home in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, naked, and sexually assaulted and strangled to death. Police said there was evidence that Nair had been raped at or after her death.
Five months later, 20-year-old Caroline Pierce was kidnapped at her home in Grosvenor Park, Tunbridge Wells. Three weeks later, in a flooded drainage ditch in Romney Marsh, 40 miles away, Caroline's body was found by a farm worker, naked except for a pair of pantyhose.

Due to the technical conditions at the time, the BRITISH DNA database had not yet been established, and the forensic doctors had obtained few samples, and the Kent Police had been unable to detect the case. It wasn't until 1999 that forensics identified dna from Wendy's body, but the case, which came to be known as "the bedsit murders," went unsolved.
With advances in DNA detection technology in recent years, the case has finally made a breakthrough, with police merging the two cases and pinpointing the killer as David Fuller. Fuller's saliva DNA was found on Wendy Nair's bedding, towel and intimate samples, and Caroline's pantyhose was also found in his semen.
Police revealed that Fuller had intersected with both women before committing the crime. Wendy was the manager of a local video store where David Fuller had taken and printed photographs; Caroline was a waitress at the local buster brown's restaurant, where David Fuller had dined. In addition, the location where Caroline's body was found was the place where Fuller rode through when he joined the bike club.

On December 3 last year, Fuller was arrested by police on suspicion of murder. However, when the police searched his home, they found that the two sexual assault and murder cases were only a corner of his crime.
In the attic and empty room of Fuller's home, police searched for hard drives, floppy disks, DVDs and memory cards hidden by Fuller, which contained millions of pictures and videos of child pornography and extreme pornography that he had stored.
In a hard drive that was pasted behind a cupboard, police found pictures and videos of Fuller molesting female bodies between 2008 and November 2020. He even put the victim's name on some folders.

Fuller has been working in hospitals since 1989 as an electrical repairman. He first worked at the local Kent and Sussex hospital, which closed in September 2011 and moved to Tunbridge Wells Hospital. His criminal conduct there continued until he was arrested.
Fuller's hospital employee id card allowed him to easily swipe open the door of the hospital morgue. Investigators said Fuller often went to the night shift and waited for other staff to leave before going to the morgue, often "checking the same body repeatedly." ”
Police revealed that based on evidence gathered at Fuller's home, Fuller had sexually assaulted at least 100 female bodies in 12 years, including three children, the youngest being just 9 years old, while the oldest of the victims was already 100 years old.
Police then spent £2 million to mobilize 317 family liaison officers from 27 British units to track down the relatives of the victims in the hospital, but nearly 20 victims are still unable to identify them.
In addition, the evidence dates back only to 2008, while Fuller began working in hospitals as early as 1989, so police believe it is likely that there are hundreds of victims.
The Royal Prosecution Service (CPS) said Fuller's necrophilia case was unprecedented in British legal history: "After Fuller's arrest, hidden hard drives were found during a search of his home, revealing a large body of evidence of sexual assault that had never been seen before in a British court." ”

On November 4, local time, the Maidstone Criminal Court in Kent, England, tried David Fuller. Fuller, who had previously pleaded not to admit murder in order to mitigate his guilt, finally stopped defending himself, admitting in court that he had sexually assaulted and murdered Wendy Neill and Caroline Pierce in 1987.
Before the two murder trials, Fuller had pleaded guilty to 51 other counts, including sexual assault on corpses, taking indecent photographs of children, possessing extreme pornographic images and voyeurism. Of those, 44 were related to 78 identified victims of sexual assault in his morgue.
In court, Fuller was described as "a controlled sexual pervert who preyed young women and derived sexual satisfaction from the corpses that violated them." Police said the images and video evidence on Fuller's hard drive were enough to prove that Fuller's sexual assault on a woman's body was motivated by "sexual gratification" rather than mental illness.
In addition, in the video of the interrogation released by Kent police, Fuller said: "I want to admit ... I confess these crimes, but I really don't want to elaborate. ”

It is worth mentioning that after the court lifted the reporting ban, the media disclosed more information about Fuller, who had committed at least 30 thefts in the 70s but was never arrested and imprisoned.
In the decades at large, Fuller was married twice and had a son. During his first marriage, Fuller had domestic violence and cheating, and his lover, Susan Marjoram, called Fuller a "kind, loving, gentle man." Fuller's second wife, Mala, a hospital nurse, appeared in court with Fuller's son, brother and other relatives when full details of Fuller's crimes were revealed last month.

Home Secretary Priti Patel said she hoped the families of the victims would "see justice finally done and be able to get some comfort". Describing the case as shocking, she added: "It is to be expected that the disgusting nature of these crimes will cause public disgust and concern." ”
Libby Clark, a prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service, said: "This extremely dangerous man has caused unimaginable suffering to countless families, and he only confesses his long-standing secrets when confronted with hard evidence. I have no doubt that without this painstaking investigation and prosecution, he would still be committing crimes to this day. ”
Sajid Javid, the health secretary, said the NHS had sent letters to all health trusts requesting a review of funeral lanes and autopsies.
Miles Scott, head of the NHS trust in Tunbridge Wells, said the trust had independently investigated the case and had asked the UK's human tissue authority for advice on whether it needed to change the rules.
At present, the date of David Fuller's sentencing has not yet been determined. British media reported that the crimes he committed were enough to keep him in prison for the rest of his life.
