Yang Jun(?) –222), courtesy name Jicai, a native of Hanoi County, was a minister of the State of Wei during the Three Kingdoms period! Cao Cao successively appointed Yang Jun to the posts of Qu Liang Chang, Cheng Xiang Shu, An Ling Ling, and Nanyang Taishou, and also held Yang Junmaocai, who preached moral indoctrination and established a school during his tenure, and everyone praised him. Later, Cao Pi became emperor of the Han Dynasty, and Yang Jun was again appointed as the Taishou of Nanyang. At this time, The Elephant of the Scattered Horse Changshi recommended Yang Jun to Cao Pi, but Yang Jun was not reused.
At first, Cao Cao had not yet decided on a successor, and Yang Jun and Cao Zhi were good friends, and when Cao Cao asked Yang Jun for his opinion, Yang Jun praised Cao Zhi although he said that Cao Pi and Cao Zhi had their own strengths and were not comparable. After the remarks were known to Cao Pi, Cao Pi often resented Yang Jun. In the third year of the Huang Dynasty (222), Cao Pi drove to Wancheng, and on the grounds that the city was not prosperous, he was furious and imprisoned Yang Jun, who was then the Taishou of Nanyang. Even though Shangshu's servants Sima Yi, Shanqi Changshi Wang Xiang, and Xun Wei all interceded for Yang Jun, prostrating their heads until they bled, Cao Pi was very determined and did not forgive Yang Jun, and Yang Jun knew about it and said, "I know the guilt." So he committed suicide. People are saddened by his fate.
When Yang Jun was young, he used to follow Chen Liuren while letting him study, while letting him pay great attention to him. Because the war had just arisen, and Hanoi was located on the main road in all directions, it would definitely become a battlefield, so he led his family to help the elderly and children to the mountains of Beijing and Mi'er Counties, accompanied by more than a hundred families. Yang Jun helps the poor and needy, and communicates with them. Among the clan friends, there were six families that were robbed as slaves, and Yang Jun poured out his family wealth to redeem them.
When Sima Yi was sixteen or seventeen years old, he met Yang Jun, and Yang Jun said, "This is not an ordinary person! Sima Lang already had a reputation, but his brother Sima Zhi was not known to everyone, and only Yang Jun commented: "Although Sima Zhi's usual prestige is not as good as Sima Lang's, his actual ability to govern is only stronger than his." Yang Jun later moved to Hezhou to escape the war. The king elephant of the county, who lost his parents and had no one to rely on since childhood, was a slave to others, and when he was seventeen or eighteen, his master asked him to herd sheep, and he secretly took time to study, so he was whipped by his master. Yang Jun admired his talent and quality, and when he ransomed Wang Xiang and took him home, he built a house for his wife, and then broke up with him.
Cao Cao appointed Yang Jun as the governor of Quliang County, entered the capital as a subordinate of Xiang Xiang (丞相椽), was recommended as Mao Cai, served as the commander of Anling County, and was promoted to Nanyang Taishou.2 He preached indoctrination and opened schools in Nanyang, and the officials and people praised him. He was reassigned to the Zhennan Army Division. After the establishment of the State of Wei, he was promoted to lieutenant. Cao Cao's conquest of Hanzhong, Wei Yan plotted a rebellion in Yi County, and Yang Jun impeached himself and went to Cao Cao's camp to plead guilty. Yang Jun was pardoned for his recent guilt and wrote to the crown prince Cao Pi to resign. Cao Pi was not happy and said, "Lieutenant Yang said that he would leave, is it too advanced?" So he ordered Yang Jun to be demoted to Pingyuan Taishou.
Cao Pi was proclaimed empress dowager, and Yang Jun was appointed as the Taishou of Nanyang. At that time, Wang Xiangren was a regular attendant and recommended Yang Jun: "The minister privately saw that Nanyang Taishou Yang Jun had pure excellent qualities, a grandeur of loyalty and rectification, the practice of benevolence was enough to give to all things, loyalty and honesty were enough to move everyone, urging backwards, tireless, broad in appearance and integrity in heart, benevolent but decisive. Since his appointment, the places he held were well governed by him, and twice he served as the Taishou of Nanyang and Guangshi Ende, and the people of neighboring places all came to him with their children on their backs. Now that the territory is stable and there is nowhere to display his talents, he should be transferred back to the capital and serve in front of His Majesty to light the emperor's business. ”

In the third year of the Huang Dynasty (222), Cao Pi arrived in Wanxian County, and because there was no scene of prosperity and happiness in the market, he was furious and arrested Yang Jun and imprisoned. Shangshu servants Sima Yi, Chang Shi Wang Xiang, and Xun Wei all interceded for Yang Jun, prostrating their heads and bleeding, but Cao Pi still refused to pardon him. Yang Jun said, "I am convicted. So he committed suicide. All mourned because of his unjust death.
