Looking at it, this is the morning of September 17, photographer Li Hechun photographed the kingfisher on the Original Chedagou River in Hunchun City, and now on the Kukna River.
The main species of kingfishers are common kingfishers, white-breasted jadeite, blue emeralds, spotted kingfishers, three-toed kingfishers and so on. The blue-eared kingfisher and stork-billed kingfisher are included in the list of national second-level protected animals.
Common kingfishers are the most common and widely distributed. Kingfishers often rest upright on low branches or rocks near the water, waiting for opportunities to prey on fish and shrimp, etc., so they are also known as fish tigers and fish dogs.
Li and Chun photographed ordinary kingfishers.
Ordinary kingfishers are small, generally about 15 cm, bright blue and brown. The upper body is light blue-green , with white spots on the sides of the neck , orange-brown underparts , and a white chin.
Kingfishers generally drag long tones to scream tea-cher sounds.
It is widely distributed in Eurasia, Southeast Asia, Indonesia and New Guinea.
It is found in freshwater lakes, streams, canals, fish ponds and mangroves in the open countryside. Perched on rocks or protruding branches, turn around and look around for fish and go into the water to catch them.
