The Second Research Group of the Provincial Census Office came to Qujiang to investigate and guide the census of natural disasters

On the afternoon of September 27, Liu Renyi, head of the second group of the Provincial Census Office and professor of Zhejiang University, led relevant comrades and technical experts of the Provincial Census Office to Qujiang to investigate and guide the first national comprehensive risk census of natural disasters and hold a symposium. Shao Yongzhong, member of the Party Committee and chief engineer of the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, accompanied the investigation.

At the forum, Qiu Jianbin, deputy head of the district census leading group and director of the district emergency management bureau, reported on the overall development of the first comprehensive risk survey of natural disasters in Qujiang District at the present stage, and put forward relevant opinions on the difficulties in the census work and the next step. The relevant comrades of the district science and technology, capital regulations, forestry, housing construction, water conservancy, meteorology, transportation and other departments respectively reported on the current risk census in the jurisdiction and industry fields.

While affirming the census work in Qujiang District, Liu Renyi, group leader Liu Renyi, put forward three requirements: First, we must grasp the progress of the census. Strengthen overall planning and coordination, work together to promote the census work, and urge all leading departments to speed up the progress of the census. Second, it is necessary to strengthen the responsibility for the census. District census offices, relevant functional departments, townships, and technical support units should perform their respective duties, consolidate census responsibilities, strictly regulate census work, and further improve the data ledger. Third, we must strictly control quality. Establish working mechanisms such as process quality control, classified and graded quality control, and quality management spot checks, and strictly control the quality of census data.
