Today is a day to remember

This morning I passed the exam and entered the third choir of our unit, very happy and very much looking forward to it.

The choirs of our unit are divided into one group, two groups, and three groups, one of which does not need to take the exam, as long as they like to sing and want to enter the choir, they can basically enter; the second group is an elderly choir, most of them are over 70 years old; only the three groups are moderately age-appropriate, often have performance tasks, and are also the highest choral level of the group (only my unit level). It is not easy to enter the three regiments, you have to go through a strict examination, this is not, this morning there was a session.

A total of 9 people took the exam this time, and they all arrived at the exam room before 9 o'clock in the morning. The organizer asked everyone to sign and draw lots to determine the order of the exams, and I drew a seventh place. The sister who drew the first place shouted nervously, but she had to go in for the exam with a hard scalp, and everyone else was nervously waiting outside. When the first sister came out of the exam, everyone else rushed to ask her about the exam, and the second sister entered the exam room before she could ask. According to my sister after the exam, there were six or seven teachers in the exam room, and the content of the exam included singing syllables, playing rhythms, singing musical scores and choosing a song to sing by herself, which was quite difficult, and made us more nervous.

One after another people came out and then some people went in, some people felt good, some people felt that it was not OK, and every time they came out, everyone would ask around. After a long time, it was finally my turn, as my sister said before me, the exam was just a few things. Originally, playing rhythm and singing musical scores was my strong point, I was not afraid, but I was still a little nervous, as if there were a few mistakes, it was really undeserved. The oratorio I chose was to raise eyebrows, and after singing for a while, the teacher said that he did not have to sing, and he did not finish singing.

I was also very dizzy during the exam, and I didn't know what the exam looked like. Later, the organizer said to let everyone go back and wait for the notification, and the admission will be directly informed by phone. Later, I learned that a total of 4 people were admitted, and I was lucky that I waited for the notification. I am really happy to pass today's exam to enter the three groups, because I am not dominant in terms of natural voice, but pitch, musical score, rhythm are my strengths, and I should have won in the comprehensive aspect.

In the past, we all envied that the brothers and sisters of the three troupes could often go to other places to participate in performances outside of work, and now I am involved. But this is just the beginning, there is still a lot to learn, and you have to hurry up to practice to keep up with the team's level.
