At noon, Mr. Shi encountered Wang Jian, president of the Qinghai National Park Bird Watching Association. Wang told Mr. Shi that he and his companions had followed the flamingos all the way here. A few days before the flamingo appeared in Haidong, a flamingo was also found in the waters of the Golmud wetlands, but it disappeared two or three days later. They followed all the way, but unexpectedly appeared again in Hualong.

"Flamingos are relatively large wading birds, usually living in places with relatively warm climates, near shallow lakes and wetlands, and their food is mainly algae in the water, as well as fish and shrimp." Qi Xinzhang, deputy director of Xining Wildlife Park, said in an interview with reporters earlier that flamingos appear in the Yellow River wetlands, and it may be that the local waters have food suitable for flamingos, and have a great relationship with the warm climate of the Yellow River Valley.

Flamingos, also known as flamingos, are found mainly in tropical and subtropical regions. Listed on the Red List of Threatened Species in 2013, it is not found in China, and the few discoveries are mostly scattered and isolated floating birds. Previously, it appeared in the Deling Hakruk Lake and guide Yellow River wetlands, and there was no record of filming in Hualong or even Haidong.

Hundreds of birds soaring, there are phoenixes, indicating that the Yellow River ecological environment is good, and people and nature live in harmony. Bird experts say that bird habitats must first have enough food to ensure foraging, and there must also be a quiet, safe and hidden nesting environment. Flamingos, giant swans, egrets, etc. choose to live in the Yellow River reservoir area of Hualong, indicating that the local Yellow River wetland ecological protection is constantly strengthening, and the environment is getting better, which is the main reason for the gathering of birds.
