The Peking Opera Cheng School was founded by Cheng Yanqiu, one of the four famous masters of Peking Opera, and has been passed down for four generations today.

Among the second-generation disciples of the Cheng Sect, there are many descendants such as disciples Wang Yinqiu, Zhao Rongchen, and Jiang Xinrong, private disciple Li Qihua, gan daughter Li Shiji, and many others. Among the three generations, there are Chen Jingqiu, Lü Dongming, Li Wenmin, Chi Xiaoqiu, Zhang Huoding, Li Haiyan, and so on. Among the four generations, there are guo wei, Yin Chanjuan, Pu Xueqing and other disciples.
It can be said that to this day, the Cheng School is also thriving and has become an important force on the Peking Opera stage. There are many disciples, but there has always been a grudge within the Cheng Pai Gate, and in the early years, there was a saying that "once you enter the Cheng Gate, it is as deep as the sea".
Master Cheng Yanqiu had a rule, that is, he did not accept female disciples. According to the seniors who came into contact with the process masters, Mr. Cheng was afraid that he and the female disciples would be rumored to be rumored, so he only accepted male disciples. The only female apprentice was Jiang Xinrong, who was assigned by Premier Zhou to worship Chengmen after the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Therefore, in master Cheng's early years, only male disciples like Wang Yinqiu Zhao Rongchen were accepted. Some female students such as Xin Yanqiu, Li Shiji, and Li Qihua, who were extremely fond of the Cheng Sect, were turned away. And it is precisely in this way that it also lays the groundwork for later grievances.
New Autumn
Xin Yanqiu and Master Cheng were from the same era, and the difference between the two was only a few years. Unable to enter the Cheng Gate, Xin Yanqiu stole the Cheng Sect and plotted against Mr. Cheng's team, which made Mr. Cheng have a grudge against her. However, with the passage of time, Mr. Cheng's relationship with Xin Yanqiu has also eased up a lot, and he even personally instructed Xin Yanqiu. Xin Yanqiu also has great respect and guilt for Mr. Cheng, and wants to repay Cheng Men.
The sudden death of Mr. Cheng has left Li Shiji and Xin Yanqiu with lifelong regrets. After Mr. Cheng's death, Cheng Men's grievances and contradictions were also out of control. Li Shiji wanted to send Niu Er to Cheng, but because of Xin Yanqiu's stealing of art, This made Li Shiji hate him, resolutely expelled Xin Yanqiu, and refused to participate in Ji Cheng activities on the same stage as others, and finally suppressed Li Shiji under the appearance of Cheng's wife Guo Suying. And the new Yanqiu into the Cheng gate.
After Li Shiji carried the banner of the Cheng Sect, he made drastic improvements to the Cheng Sect, which caused dissatisfaction among disciples such as Wang Yinqiu and Zhao Rongchen, so the estrangement and contradictions between them became more and more intense. Moreover, Li Shiji has been on the upper line, which is not in line with the artistic concepts of Wang Yinqiu and others, so there is also a great entanglement between them.
