Scientists at the California Academy of Sciences and the University of Sydney have discovered a new fish on the coral reefs of Tanzania's Zanzibar island, with a brilliant body and dark purple scales that do not fade even after being made into a research specimen.
This new species was named "Cirrhilabrus wakanda".
The researchers said that the beautiful body color of this small fish reminded them of "vibrating gold", a fictional rare metal in Marvel movies with all kinds of wonderful properties, only produced in a few regions such as wakanda, an equally fictional African country.
The advantage of studying biology is probably that you can name new species according to your preferences.
