In January 2016, Wang Zhixiu stepped into the position of instructor, and the bloodiness did not decrease but increased. At that time, Wang Zhixiu, who suddenly suffered from a stomach disease, could have stayed in the team to rest, but she took the initiative to ask for help and was fully armed.

Everyone was distressed about Wang Zhixiu and advised her to go back to rest first, but Wang Zhixiu was stubborn like a cow, insisting on standing with the warriors, and after three hours, her hands and feet were cold. Since 2014, the female soldier company has successively emerged 6 advanced individuals in theoretical learning in the selection and commendation of the garrison's "Theoretical Learning Star", ranking first in the team. The achievements are inseparable from Wang Zhixiu's efforts. Wang Zhixiu's theory can be described as an "old driver", and he has become famous when he participated in the garrison rules and regulations knowledge contest during his tenure as a platoon leader, when the team had only 4 excellent people, and she was the most top-notch one. Company commander Yan Huimin said that Wang Zhixiu was an "heirloom" who would share her experience and help everyone find materials whenever a soldier took an exam, and later even compiled a booklet.
Liang Qian, a soldier recommended for the exam, had a higher education but was very introverted and rarely talked to his comrades-in-arms. Considering that Liang Qian may not be able to pass the oral answering session, Wang Zhixiu not only calls her to her side every day and makes her speak boldly, but sometimes takes her to the military mirror to let her learn to talk to herself, and carefully teaches the methods and techniques of flexibly applying memorization knowledge to on-site answers.

In July last year, when the news came from home that his mother was sick and hospitalized, Wang Zhixiu made a phone call to greet him and then quickly threw himself into an intense and busy work, resting at night but crying alone in the bed.
"The world is not difficult, where is the master?" On the title page of Wang Zhixiu's military notebook, these eight words are particularly eye-catching. Under the leadership of Wang Zhixiu, the female soldier company showed its unique cohesive combat effectiveness, successively cultivated the first women's special operations platoon of the whole army, and sent more than 400 female elite soldiers stationed in Hong Kong, of which 53 have grown into backbones of special operations, telephone affairs and other professions.
