Six years ago, Dai Yuqiang founded the "Dai You Sing" vocal music teaching platform, "We want to review the road we have traveled. In addition to the outstanding participants selected from "Dai You Sing", the students who have been following Dai Yuqiang for many years also participated in this concert. From Dai Yuqiang's representative works such as "I Come Up Like a Snowflake in the Sky", to Chinese folk songs such as "In That Distant Place" and "The Sun Rises and Falls on the Grassland", to Western classic arias such as "What a Happy Day" and "Cold Little Hands", the repertoire of the concert has a variety of styles.

Dai Yuqiang gave up the stage to the students and played the role of host himself. His witty remarks enliven the atmosphere of the theater and online live broadcasts such as Kuaishou and Douyin, while introducing works to the audience and answering questions. For example, a black "round ball" in front of the stage has aroused the interest of netizens in the live broadcast room, and some people have speculated in the bullet screen, is this a light ball that projects colorful lights in KTV? Dai Yuqiang told everyone that this small device was hidden and contained two sound microphones, which were used to convey the singing of the scene to the national audience.

Humorous, approachable, and friend-making, it is the tenor Xue Haoyan's impression of Dai Yuqiang in life. Xue Haoyu studied vocal music with Dai Yuqiang since 2002 and is known as "Master Brother" in "Shimen". He still remembers the scene where he and Dai Yuqiang formed a master-apprentice relationship. In 2002, in the oratorio "Sister Jiang", Xue Haoyu was a group B actor in the role of "Fu Zhigao" played by Dai Yuqiang. "Good voice, sing a few more paragraphs to listen." Dai Yuqiang encouraged. This made Xue Haoyan, who was still in college at the time, both encouraged and nervous. After singing, he boldly asked, "Will I have a chance to ask you for advice in the future?" At that time, Dai Yuqiang's schedule was particularly busy, but the answer he gave was very cheerful: "Yes, come on!" "This teaching has been eighteen years.

"To promote young people, Teacher Dai never spares no effort." Xue Haoyan said. The road to the National Centre for the Performing Arts was also opened for him by Dai Yuqiang, and so far, Xue Haoyu has participated in 11 operas at the National Centre for the Performing Arts. "Teacher Dai himself has not undergone very systematic training, and many things have been figured out by himself." Xue Haoyan believes that Dai Yuqiang has largely changed the monotonous and serious interpretation mode of Chinese songs in the past tenor. In addition to his admiration, he was very grateful to the teacher for teaching these experiences.

Dai Yuqiang was strict and even severe in teaching. Wang Zenan, a tenor who won the first place in the bel canto group of the Golden Bell Award, is also a disciple of Dai Yuqiang. Wang Zenan recalled that when he studied the aria "Holy Cottage", he always had a high pitch that could not be sung, and when he sang it right, he was "beaten" by the teacher. "You must remember this time." Dai Yuqiang said to him, "I teach you, the tuition can be waived, but the things taught to you have been forgotten, and 'fighting' is inevitable." Nowadays, there are more and more teachers and sisters in the same door, and Wang Zenan also needs to help share some teaching tasks, "This spirit, we will continue to pass on." ”

At this concert, the "Inserting Music Wings for Poetry" project, which is strongly supported by the China Poetry Development Foundation and the Agile Charity Foundation, was also officially launched. Chinese poetry is a precious cultural treasure house, Dai Yuqiang hopes that in the future, calligraphers, reciters, composers, singers can be invited to create a poem together, so that the text is three-dimensional, of which the singing and other music parts will be completed by the team led by Dai Yuqiang to guide the students of "Dai You Sing".
