An article teaches you to read lipid tests

Now whether it is a physical examination or a laboratory test in the hospital, one of the most common blood tests is blood lipids. Blood lipids, the most elementary project is total cholesterol, triglycerides, hdL lipoprotein, LDL, you can open your lipid test to see if there are these four items.

An article teaches you to read lipid tests

These four items are the most primary, some friends do more advanced physical examination, the test is more complete, there will be apolipoprotein A, apolipoprotein B, lipoprotein A, very low density lipoprotein. So what does all this mean? I'll tell you one by one.

The first indicator is total cholesterol.

Total cholesterol is the sum of HDL, LDL and some lipids, which is the sum of cholesterol. There are good and bad things in the total cholesterol.

The second item is triglycerides.

It is a blood lipid that is particularly susceptible to the influence of our diet, exercise and lifestyle, you eat a fried root in the morning, check it at noon to be high, so obvious, and it is subject to our exercise, weight is very obvious.

The third item is hdL LIPOProtein.

HDL is what we often call good blood lipids, and the higher the HDL, the more it helps to inhibit atherosclerosis.

The fourth item is low-density lipoprotein.

LDL is what we often call serbophilia, which is high enough to form atherosclerotic plaques, which is the yellow-orange-orange thing in the plaques.

After talking about these four items, let me tell you what the other indicators represent.

Apolipoprotein a1 this indicator it is the main structural protein of hdL lipoprotein, to put it bluntly, it corresponds to HDL, and the higher the HDL, the higher it is.

The apolipoprotein b corresponds to the low-density lipoprotein, and if the low-density lipoprotein is controlled, the apolipoprotein b is lowered.

Next, let's talk about the ester protein a indicator, which represents the genetic or representative of the genetic level of the blood lipid effect, it is normally not subject to external environmental intervention. Therefore, lipoprotein A is a residual risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Clinically, some people have good LDL control, but why do they still have lesions? One of the residual risks is lipoprotein a. Unfortunately, there are currently no drugs for the treatment of lipoprotein a in humans.

The last item is very low-density lipoprotein. Very low-density lipoprotein essentially corresponds to triglycerides, and if your triglycerides are high, your very low-density lipoproteins are high.

People with high very low-density lipoproteins, high triglycerides, and low high-density lipoproteins often refer to people with such manifestations of all three as atherosclerotic lipid profiles. That is to say, people with this manifestation are more likely to develop atherosclerosis. When you get the checklist, look at your triglycerides, very low-density lipoprotein, high-density lipoprotein, and this indicator. If abnormal, pay special attention to the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

The above is the interpretation of the relevant indicators on the blood lipid test sheet, I hope to be able to help everyone, you can collect and forward to your friends and relatives.
