However, today's protagonists are not them, today's "protagonists" are the movie "Memories of Killing" itself, the real events behind it that make countless people angry, horrified, distressed, moved, powerless, and cruel, and the earth-shattering murder case that sensationalized the whole country! The serious criminal case, known as the "Gyeonggi-do Serial Rape and Murder Case," is said to be the largest number of criminal cases in South Korea's history, with no less than 200 police officers involved in the investigation, and more than 20,000 suspects and witnesses to collect evidence alone.

Before that, I always thought that all Korean movies were like Korean dramas, bubble and brainless, since the shock of "Memories of Killing", I really began to walk into Korean movies, "Old Boy", "Yellow Sea", "Chaser", "Unforgivable", "Common Security Zone", "Melting Pot"... I can't extricate myself from watching more than ten films in one breath.
Compared with shock, watching "Memories of Killing" brings me more feelings of "blocking", having turbidity in my chest, and not looking for a place to vent and holding out internal injuries! However, unexpectedly, the reality is far more congested than the movie, 2003-2019, 16 years later is still not unhappy. I sincerely hope that domestic movies can make rapid progress and shoot more divine works that also make me "heart blocked"!
