According to the Xiamen Evening News on November 4, in order to reduce dust pollution during the construction process, recently, the "dust-free water cutting machine" independently transformed by the Haicang Highway Department of the Highway Center of the Municipal Transportation Bureau was put into use, avoiding the phenomenon of pollution while cutting in the process of sidewalk maintenance.
The reporter noted that compared with the previous cutting machine, the "dust-free water cutting machine" added a protective cover for dust protection and a water pipe for spraying water. The use of the "dust-free water cutting machine" effectively avoids the pollution of the roads and storefronts in the construction section, and protects the health of workers and pedestrians.
At present, the Haicang Highway Department has put into use 4 sets of "dust-free water cutting machines".
