Sharp blade out of the sheath, cold light drinking blood, all because of ingenuity| Dream Spirit Band released the single "Famous Craftsman"

After signing with Modern Sky, the Dream Spirit Band brought their new masterpiece "Famous Craftsman" for the first time, which is also the first lead single in their upcoming new album "AD One Qiqi Jiu A.d.1279".

As the Chinese metal band with the most overseas tours and the most frequent tours, Mengling Band takes the spiritual connotation and values in classical Chinese culture as the core, draws nutrients from modern music such as traditional heavy metal, folk metal, power metal, etc., and creatively integrates national instruments and tunes into the framework of metal music, trying to create a new metal style that not only meets the aesthetics of modern music, but also is enough to continue traditional Chinese music.

"Famous Craftsmen", as the debut single of the latest concept album of the Dream Spirit Band, is not only an ode to the craftsmen in the army at the end of the Song Dynasty, but also a narrative full of suspense: in the era of cold weapons, soldiers galloping on the battlefield can not only rely on a passion, and the blade in their hands is even more crucial. In the song, the craftsman who has been making weapons all his life should have forged a sharp knife for the general he knew, but he was not seen to take it away. Is he still on his way home triumphantly? Or is it already on the battlefield? ...... Uneasiness and anxiety gradually came to mind.

Under the stormy power of "Famous Craftsmen" and the passionate solo, it is an oriental tone that makes the Chinese people feel intimate and familiar. In the new work, MengLing not only inherits the musical style of the previous work, but also emphasizes the metallic texture brought by the guitar, and uses richer keyboard tones and playing techniques to tone. And the lyrics of "after several spring and autumn, the sharp blade can still be shocked" can also be regarded as mengling's inheritance and greeting to the Tang and Song Dynasties, which is especially refreshing in the rhythm, but also does not feel jerky.

It is worth mentioning that the guitar solo in the work is guest played by bill hudson (northtale, doro, i am morbid), a young metal supernova guitarist from the United States; and the mixing and mastering of the German power metal master Roland Grapow personally take the whole song to a higher level.
