author:Lingnan Keyuan

Lin Qiang, a researcher at the Key Laboratory of Tropical Marine Living Resources and Ecology at the South China Sea Institute of Oceanography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, together with Zhang Zhixin of Hokkaido University in Japan, Stefano Mammola of the Institute of Water Resources of the Italian National Research Council, and Adeljean Ho of Florida Institute of Technology in the United States, systematically analyzed the biodiversity of the Sea Dragon population and its geographical pattern formation mechanism near the West Pacific Coast, and proposed the view that ecological niche differentiation and habitat adaptability jointly drive the differentiation of marine fish populations. The study was published online May 4 in Diversity and Distribution. It is reported that Wang Xin and Zhang Zhixin are the co-first authors of the paper, and Lin Qiang is the corresponding author of the paper.
