The older he got, Chen Jun's body became smaller and smaller, "shaped like a child", and when he was more than four hundred years old, he weighed less than ten pounds, like a huge baby with an old man's face.
A neighbor who can weave bamboo baskets has compiled a very large vegetable basket, and when it is the turn of whoever provides for the elderly Chen Jun, they will carry him with a vegetable basket, and people affectionately call the old man "vegetable basket gong".
Generation after generation of kind people in Tangquan Village are proud of having an old birthday star in the village, and they offer the old man as a treasure and worship him as a god.
In the daytime under the field labor, people are worried about the old man's loneliness, they use a vegetable basket to carry the old man in the field, chat with the old man, listen to the old man's story, the old man is hungry, he is "fed human milk" by the nursing woman, the old man and the neighbors of the generation after generation of descendants get along, the old man has lived for more than four hundred years.
After his death, his neighbors buried him in the village's Tangquan Temple as a deity.
According to legend, Peng Zu lived for more than 800 years, and the locals praised the elderly Chen Jun as "Little Peng Zu" and carved his life deeds on a wooden plaque, which was preserved from the Yuan Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty.
Today, Yongtai County still has a story about Cai Lan Gong.
