Gu Shufen

Gu Xuefen, male, born in February 1930 in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, graduated from the Department of Aeronautical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1951. He is currently a senior consultant of the Science and Technology Committee of Aviation Industry Corporation of China and the honorary president of the China Aeronautical Research Institute. In 1991, he was elected as a member (academician) of the Faculty of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and in 1994, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
Gu Shufen is a famous aircraft design master in China, the founder of aircraft aerodynamic design, and an aviation strategy scientist. He established the aerodynamic design system of new Chinese aircraft, created a precedent for China's independent development of fighters, continued to carry out aviation strategic research, and made significant contributions to China's aviation science and technology.
Wang Dazhong
Wang Dazhong, male, born in February 1935, from Changli, Hebei. He graduated from the Department of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University in 1958. He was the director of the Institute of Nuclear Energy Technology of Tsinghua University and the president of Tsinghua University. In 1993, he was elected an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Wang Dazhong is a well-known scholar and strategic scientist in the field of international nuclear energy, committed to the development of advanced nuclear energy systems with inherent safety characteristics. He led the joint team of industry, education and research to realize the overall development process of China's high-temperature gas-cooled reactor technology from following and running to leading, laying an important technical foundation for China to gradually move to the forefront of the world in the field of advanced nuclear energy.
A total of 12 projects in Qingdao have won the 2020 National Science and Technology Award, including 2 Technological Invention Awards and 10 Science and Technology Progress Awards. Among the award-winning projects, Qingdao presided over the completion of 3 projects.

The award-winning projects in which Qingdao participated also performed well in the fields of resource utilization and environmental protection. Among them, the "Rapid Pyrolysis of Agricultural and Forestry Wastes to Create Humic Acid Environmental Materials and Their Applications" project led by the team of Tian Yuanyu of China University of Petroleum (East China) has built the world's largest rapid pyrolysis device through innovation in basic research, technology, equipment and products, leading the development of rapid pyrolysis technology of biomass, and won the second prize for technological invention.
