The US "Capitol Hill" reported on October 21 that former US President Trump's Trump Media and Technology Group (Trump Media and Technology Group) announced the creation of a new social network TRUTH Social, saying that the goal is to become a "competitor to liberal media."

After the deadly unrest at the Capitol on Jan. 6, Trump was blocked by most mainstream social media, including Facebook and Twitter.
