The results of the physical examination also showed that the living coral coverage rate in the three places of Dongyuping was between "average" and "excellent" in the international standard, while some index fish were recorded, and the index invertebrate species and numbers were relatively poor.

The survey sites of Dongyuping are located on the west (north) side of the island, the seven-foot gate on the south side and the east side, and the living coral coverage rate is between 41.25-73.125%, the lowest is on the east side, which belongs to the "general" grade, and the coverage rate of the seven-foot gate on the south side is the highest, almost "superior". The living corals on the west and east sides are mainly composed of hard corals, while the seven-foot gate on the south side is mostly composed of soft corals. The survey site on the east side this year is northerly than in previous years, which is dominated by boulders, which is not conducive to biological attachment growth, and there is a gap with the living coral coverage rate of more than 65% last year.
In the index fish section, three survey sites recorded butterfly fish, the population density ranged from 1-11.5 per 100 square meters, the lowest was seven feet on the south side, and the highest was in the west side. Others have been sporadically observed of bare-breasted catfish, snapper and parrotfish.

According to the regulations of the Marine National Park Management Office, in addition to the recreation behavior of the waters or the consent of the competent authorities, it is forbidden to capture, fish, fish and destroy the animal and plant resources in the sea, but the number and variety of fish are not more than the other two survey sites, most likely because the substrate is composed of soft corals, the lack of complex three-dimensional space can be hidden, and the diversity or number of fish is not more prominent.

In the ogactive invertebrate part, devil sea urchins and shellfish have been observed in all three locations, but the numbers are not large, perhaps because the coral growth is too dense or the structure is relatively simple, which is not conducive to the hiding of these organisms.
Volunteers also go diving in the prestigious Dongji Lavender Garden, the Dongxiji Corridor and the Sigi Castle. There are National Park Police forces stationed here in DongjijiYu, which is more accurate in law enforcement, not only has quite good and dense corals, but also can see a surprising number of blacktails, silver snappers, stone perch, parrot fish, pointed swallow fish, etc., and even dragon king seabream, which makes volunteers exclaim.

Weng Zhensheng, executive director of the Penghu Marine Citizens Foundation, pointed out that the four southern islands have a good innate environment, proper management and protection, will be the best breeding stock in the Penghu sea area, the spillover effect of the protected area can appropriately supplement fishery resources, but also the basis for the development of snorkeling or diving and other leisure activities, but it is a pity that the Maritime Control Office because of limited manpower and funds, although the implementation of law enforcement in Dongxiji, DongxiYuping is still beyond the reach of the whip, I hope that the government can invest more in law enforcement resources, including increasing the staffing, as well as the purchase of patrol vessels needed by the police force. In addition, the Dongxiji Corridor is an important fish corridor, and he called on the government to designate it as a fish-free zone. Because the East-West Ji Corridor is usually strong and urgent, the designated fish ban zone actually has a very limited impact on the operations of local fishermen, and compared with the benefits of fishery resource restoration, tourism resource improvement and ecological conservation implementation, it is necessary to set up and promote it immediately.
