Description: Phylum Molluscs, Gastropoda, Mesogercephalus, Phoenix snail family, Bulbophyllum probosciss.

The shell is medium to large, slender in shape, the spiral tower is high and pointed, and the body layer is swollen and rounded. Length 110-180 mm. The shell is thin and light, the shell surface is smooth, and the luster is like silk. There are dysplasia threads. The shell mouth is half-moon shaped, and the spiny anterior water pipe groove is slightly curved. The suture line is shallow, and there is a distinct screw groove underneath it. The outer lip edge is thickened with 6-7 short spines. The shell surface is milky brown, the outer lip edges and the lower part of the snail layer are white, and the middle spiral layer is dark brown. It inhabits deep-sea mud and sand bottoms and subtidal zones. It is found in the South China Sea, Taiwan Province of China, the Philippines and Indonesia.
