According to the Yong'an Rong Media Center on June 12, ecological photography enthusiasts recently recorded a butterfly in the process of field monitoring, which was identified by experts as a butterfly with pearl eyes.

Sanming has a new variety of butterflies, which looks like this

The Zollum butterfly is a species of butterfly in the genus Pterophoridae in the family Ocularidae. It is pale in color, with no eye spots on the forewings, a very oblique transverse band on the reverse, and a wide area on its outer side. The outer edge of the hindwing is wavy, the transverse band is wavy and curved in the reverse, and the outer transverse band is S-shaped. This species is distributed in Chongqing and Sichuan.

The Pearl-Eyed Butterfly recorded this time is a new species of butterfly recorded for the first time in Sanming.
