On October 21, 2021, local time, the Ferris wheel, known as the world's largest and highest, known as the "Dubai Eye", opened in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is understood that the Ferris wheel is more than 250 meters high, almost twice that of the "London Eye", and about 11,200 tons of steel were used in construction, 33% more steel than the amount of steel used to build the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The Dubai Eye Ferris wheel consists of 48 double-glazed cabins that can carry up to 1,750 passengers at a time and take 38 minutes to turn around.
