At the end of 2000, due to the needs of work, Chen Congqing was fascinated by the butterflies on the island of Hebao, the southwesternmost part of Zhuhai, when he was fascinated by the butterflies on the island and raised his camera to take a few pictures. Chen Dareqing painstakingly searched for a tool book to introduce the classification of butterflies, and did not hesitate to buy books, and returned to the island with these reference books, while photographing butterflies, while flipping through the learning, starting from knowing the butterflies around him, knowing the butterflies on the entire island and the butterflies in Zhuhai City. He has learned more and more about butterflies, and his knowledge and love of butterflies has deepened, and he is now an expert in butterfly research.
Chen Ganqing said that now he not only photographs adult butterflies, but also takes photos of butterflies in the stages of larvae, pupae, eggs, etc., hoping to do a good job in popularizing science with wonderful photos. For example, many people are very afraid of caterpillars, but Chen Dangqing tried to find the "most beautiful angle", he once took a picture of a caterpillar, this caterpillar is hidden behind the leaves, revealing a part of the head, like a cute red panda, people can't help but be funny.
