There are many excellent spider species available for artificial breeding, and in order to enable first-time spider breeders to understand the characteristics and origins of different spiders, several are introduced for reference.

• Bird-catching spiders: brown, extra-large, generally about 7 cm long, some up to 10 cm long, with the ability to build their own living nests, more burrows around the dry field or overgrown places, lurking in the cave during the day, going out to hunt at night, strong reproductive ability, more toxicity, each female spider lays 300 to 500 eggs a year, every 200 bird-catching spiders can be poisoned 1 gram at a time, produced in Guangxi, Yunnan and Vietnam, Myanmar and other countries in China.
