Zhang Tao attended the 2021 leading group meeting on the resettlement of veterans

On November 4, the first meeting of the 2021 Leading Group for the Resettlement of Veterans was held. Zhang Tao, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal CPC Committee and vice mayor, pointed out that doing a good job in resettling retired soldiers is related to the realization of the party's goal of strengthening the army in the new era, to the sustained and healthy development of the economy and society, and to the vital interests of the vast number of retired soldiers. All counties (cities, districts), and all relevant departments and units should attach great importance to it, further enhance the "four consciousnesses," strengthen the "four self-confidences," and achieve the "two safeguards." In accordance with the work requirements of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, we must do a good job in this year's resettlement work with heart and affection; we must refine measures, vigorously grasp the implementation, and implement the policy for the resettlement of retired servicemen; we must strengthen leadership, serious accountability, and successfully complete the task of resettling retired servicemen.
