Today, my mother and I went to see a movie about the Chinese Volunteer Army's War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea and defend the country.
There are a lot of great plots in the movie. One of the most memorable for me was the seventh company commander Wu Qianli. He fought in blood, and it was difficult to end the battle and return to his hometown to reunite with his relatives. Suddenly, he received a message from Pegasus that he had an important task and had to assemble his troops early the next morning! He immediately agreed and quickly packed his bags.
Military orders are like mountains, and soldiers are fast. Under the leadership of Wu Qianli, the volunteer soldiers came to Korea by train under the leadership of Wu Qianli, and fought a life-and-death contest with the American army at Chosin Lake, which came by plane, invaded Korea, plotted against China, and the most advanced weapons of the United States army. In order not to be discovered by the US reconnaissance plane, the thinly dressed soldiers lay motionless in the icy snow and snow of goose feathers, thirsty for a sip of snow water, hungry to eat potatoes that were frozen hard. The potatoes were cold and hard, and even knocked out their teeth. And such potatoes are particularly precious, first consider giving them to the wounded and sick, and the rest can be eaten by ordinary soldiers. American soldiers, on the other hand, wore warm tweed coats and military boots, and the dishes were sumptuous, and there were even sweet snacks such as chocolate. The shells thrown by the US troops during the battle filled the battlefield with smoke and misery. The severed limbs and bodies of the bombed dead were scattered everywhere, and the blood stained the snowy earth red. One by one, the hungry warriors rushed up, brandishing ordinary weapons, desperately fighting with the enemy who was well-clothed, strong, and almost ten times more advanced in weapons, one fell, the other took the place, and no one was afraid to retreat. In the end, the Chinese volunteers, who were far from the enemy's military strength, won the victory with difficulty. When American officers saw the Chinese volunteers waiting for them in the snow at minus 40 degrees Celsius turned into "ice sculptures" on the way to escape, they could not help but stand in awe and perform a military salute. He said to his soldiers: "There is such a strong enemy that we cannot defeat." Hearing these words, a sense of national pride sprang up in my heart.
At the end of the movie, my heart could not be calm for a long time, and my mind always recalled a sentence from Wu Qianli's good partner, the instructor Mei Sheng, "We have finished all the battles that should be fought, and our descendants will not have to fight." "I felt how hard the victory was at that time, and how hard it was to live happily today.
In some war-torn countries, many children do not have enough to eat, do not have warm clothing, lose the opportunity to study, lose their loved ones, bombs can fall on the roof at any time, and their lives are precarious. And our Chinese army has built an indestructible Great Wall for the people with steely will and wisdom to shield us from the wind and rain. Only when we children can read books and laugh in the school; parents can work and show their grand plans in the unit; grandparents can smile and sing and dance in the square. It is hard to imagine what our lives would be like without a strong motherland and without soldiers who are not afraid of hardships and tenacious struggles. The motherland has given us a beautiful homeland and a quiet life without worries, and we must also work hard to be strong, learn more knowledge, and make our science and technology and military more advanced and developed when we grow up, so that other countries will not underestimate us and look at us as tigers. We must learn from the qualities of soldiers who are not afraid of difficulties, who are determined, and who never give up until they reach their goals. We must use actions to achieve "young people are strong, China is strong"!
O brave soldiers, you are the patron saint of our motherland, the most worthy of our respect and the most lovely people.
