On November 1, the list of players participating in the 2021 World Table Tennis Championships (World Table Tennis Championships) has been confirmed. The World Table Tennis Championships will be held in Houston, USA from November 23 to 29, the first time that the World Table Tennis Championships have settled in the Americas.
In the men's singles, world number one Fan Zhendong will represent The Chinese team with Zhou Qihao, Lin Gaoyuan, Wang Chuqin and Liang Jingkun. Tomokazu Chang will represent the Japanese team with Takashi Niwa, Yukiya Utada, Masataka Morien and Hayabusa Tokami. The German squad includes "table tennis evergreen" Bohr, as well as Francesca and Duda. Other famous players participating in the men's singles event of the World Table Tennis Championships include Calderano in Brazil, and The runner-up of the 2019 World Table Tennis Championships in Budapest, Swedish athlete Falk.
The women's singles field is also full of highlights, with seven of the world's top ten players competing in Houston. Chen Meng and Sun Yingsha, the world's top two Chinese players, are expected to play another peak showdown. The biggest challenge the two face comes from world-no.3 Japanese mitsumachi Ito, who won two consecutive women's singles titles at the World Table Tennis Pro League (wtt) Middle East tournament in March and partnered Mizutani Hayabusa to win the mixed doubles gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
