A: Individual dogs need to have full capacity for civil conduct and have a single-family residence; unit dogs need to have special places and safety protection facilities, implement captivity and determine a special person to be responsible for dog management.
2. How to apply for a dog license?
Answer: Within 30 days from the date of obtaining the dog immunization certificate, the dog breeder shall hold the resident identity certificate and residence certificate or the unit business license, and carry the dog immunization certificate or immunization license issued by the designated institution of the agriculture and animal husbandry department, and bring the dog to the dog registration service agency designated by the public security organ of the flag (urban area) where he is located to handle information registration. After the public security organs receive the application materials for dog registration, they shall conduct a review on the spot, and if they meet the conditions, they shall register and issue a dog registration certificate and a dog license; if they do not meet the requirements, they shall not register and explain the reasons.
3. What are the restrictions on the type of dog to be kept?
A: The Regulations prohibit residents from keeping aggressive dogs and large dogs.
4. What are the standards for large dogs that are prohibited?
A: In the areas stipulated in the Regulations, residents are prohibited from keeping large dogs with a height greater than 50 cm (shoulder height) and a body length of 80 cm (including 50 cm in height and 80 cm in body length), except for guide dogs. The Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau will adjust the specifications of prohibited dogs in a timely manner according to the actual situation of dog breeding in our city, and the final interpretation will be vested in the Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau.
5. What are the forbidden dogs?
A: A total of 49 species of fierce dogs (regardless of height and length) are prohibited from being kept by individuals, and the catalogue is as follows:
