In the thirtieth year of Daoguang (1851), the Taiping Rebellion swept across the country. Lai Wenguang, Chen Decai, Lan Dashun, Lan Ershun and four others were the main generals of the Taiping Rebellion. In the first year of the Reign of Qing Tongzhi (1862), Lai Wenguang, the King of Zun, on the orders of Hong Xiuquan, the King of Heaven, together with Chen Decai, the King of Fu, and Liang Chengfu, the King of Qi, marched west to Shaanxi, united various rebel armies, expanded their ranks, and occupied Hanzhong. In the autumn of the same year, Tianjing (present-day Nanjing) rushed back to the aid of his division, passing through Zhuxi and engaged in a deadly battle.

On October 23 of the first year of the Tongzhi Dynasty, King Qi led hundreds of thousands of people, including Fu Wang, Zun Wang, Duan Wang, Heavenly General, Dynasty General, and Main General, crossed the Pass Pass and reached the mouth of the small river in the west of Zhuxi, conquering the county seat of Zhuxi in one fell swoop. Zhuxi ZhiXian Zhou Shiqi, Youfu Xie Pingheng, Yi Shen Guo Jinshen, led the army to block the imperial palace, and the rebel army gained. At that time, the Qing government implemented the practice of clearing the wilderness, no one in the family room, and grain and grass into the village. After the rebels entered the city, they could neither publicize the townspeople nor had food and grass to supply. The rebels divided the road, attacked the fortress, destroyed the cottage, besieged for more than 20 days, cut off the waterway for several days, the enemy was smashed, and countless people died. In less than a month, the rebels broke through 28 cottages, killing countless enemy troops.

On December 23, the rebels and the township braves met at ShuipingChang and attacked the county river shop, with casualties on both sides. On the sixth day of the first month of the second year of Tongzhi, the rebel army led Lan Dashun to plunder Hanyin, Lan Ershun broke the city, and the army threatened Zhuxi. In February of the third year of Tongzhi, the rebels deployed the Shu River, lurked in the valley, and the township brave crossed the mouth of the Shahe River at night, took the opportunity to sneak attack the rebels, and the rebel artillery bombarded, and the township brave drowned. After the battle, the rebel army turned to Shaanxi and Gansu for seventy days.

On May 5, 1860, the Taiping Army supported The King Chen Decai's troops from Shanyang to Yunxi and besieged the city for ten days, after which the Taiping Army and the leader of the Sichuan Rebel Army, Lan Ershun, cooperated with each other and went to Yunxi several times. On September 21, the first year of the Qing Dynasty (1862), Chen Decai and Liang Chengfu, the king of the Northwest Taiping Army, led more than 100,000 people into the house. On the twenty-fourth day, the camp was pulled out and two bamboos were entered through nine roads.

In the first year of qing tongzhi (1862), Chen Decai, Lai Wenguang and other units of the Taiping Army expeditioned to northern Henan, formed a coalition army with the Twist army, and entered Zhuxi, Zhushan and other places in Hubei Province.
