In order to fully implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the work of veterans' affairs, fully implement the major decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, the State Council, the provincial party committee and the provincial government on the resettlement of veterans, and implement the responsibilities of the 2021 Honghe Prefecture Veterans Resettlement Conference, the Mengzi Municipal Veterans Affairs Bureau held and the Honghe Prefecture Coordinated Social Work Service Center undertook the "Transfer and Resettlement of Retired Soldiers arranged by the Government" Adaptive Education Training Course was successfully opened in Mengzi City on August 25, 2021. Comrade Bai Zhiguang, member of the party group and deputy director of the Honghe Prefecture Veterans Affairs Bureau, Comrade Sha Ming, secretary of the party group and director of the Mengzi Veterans Affairs Bureau, Comrade Duan Hongmei, deputy director of the Mengzi Veterans Affairs Bureau, Xiang Liyu, general manager of the business development department of Yunnan Mengzi Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., and Chen Jie, chairman of the Honghe Prefecture Collaborative Social Work Service Center, attended the opening ceremony, and 56 soldiers and teacher representatives resettled by Mengzi City attended the opening ceremony.

After the opening ceremony, Director Sha and Deputy Director Duan gave lectures to everyone from the aspects of interpretation of resettlement policies, provincial, state, and municipal conditions, and the functions of local institutions; expert teachers gave lectures from three aspects: the protection of veterans and the education of anti-rape and anti-espionage secrecy.
In the next three days, the training activities set up courses such as party history education, 14th Five-Year Plan counseling, employment and entrepreneurship situation, financial related knowledge, psychological debugging and official writing and conference etiquette, office automation computer counseling, and on-site teaching of visits to martyrs' cemeteries. This training and learning adopts the method of daytime study and evening group discussion to provide a full range of counseling services for retired soldiers.
