The 24-hour nucleic acid testing point in Shanghai spent a sleepless night yesterday.
After an all-nighter, today they are still fully open and running efficiently for the second wave of detection peaks.
On November 1, a reporter from The Paper (www.thepaper.cn) visited the Tongren Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in Changning District to visit the operation of the nucleic acid testing site.

At the nucleic acid testing point of Tongren Hospital, the public can quickly queue up for sampling after online payment. The pictures in this article are all pictures of the surging news reporter Zhang Hui
According to the national and Shanghai epidemic prevention and control requirements, all personnel entering Shanghai Disneyland and Disneytown from October 30 to October 31 will undergo 2 days of closed-loop management and 12 days of strict community health management, during which nucleic acid testing will be carried out on days 1, 2, 7 and 14 respectively.
The ensuing amount of detection also tests the operation of the nucleic acid testing point. After the big test on the evening of the 31st, the nucleic acid testing point of Tongren Hospital continued to operate at a high speed.
Daytime: Continuing last night's busyness, the windows are fully open
After 6 o'clock last night, the testing point of Tongren Hospital suddenly ushered in a peak time, until the early morning, the citizens who received the notice to come to do nucleic acid were still in a steady stream. The crowd waiting for detection once lined up from Linquan Road to the turn of Xianxia Road, and the police also went to the scene to maintain order.
After the initiatives were in place, the inspection team moved forward quickly. From 6 o'clock to the early morning of last night, nearly 3,000 people came to test, and the amount of testing in these 6 hours was comparable to the amount of testing in a day.
The tight rhythm continues into today's daytime.
At about 13:00 on November 1, at Tongren Hospital, there was an endless stream of people who came to do nucleic acid testing. The sound of the radio constantly prompted, and the nucleic acid testing point entered from the entrance of linquan road courtyard.
Outside the wall of Linquan Road Courtyard, there are large and small "rapid nucleic acid testing application" instructions posted, prompting the public how to scan the code to enter the nucleic acid test fast track. After registering online for payment, people can go directly to the hospital to queue up for sampling.
After completing the online payment, the public can complete the test within 2 minutes.
At the entrance of the hospital, two volunteers wearing green vests were busy all the time, guiding the citizens who had questions. When volunteer Su Su took up his post at 8 o'clock in the morning, he was catching the first wave of testing peak of the day, and a queue of more than ten meters was lined up on the side of the road.
Su Su's company, Liankong Network, provides technical support for the online payment program for nucleic acid testing in hospitals. She told reporters that the recent Expo participants, as well as Disney-related personnel have testing needs, online payment can speed up the testing process. After scanning the code according to the prompts, after a few minutes of operation, you can complete the registration payment.
Ms. Chen, a citizen, went to Disneytown on October 30 and rushed to the public account after learning that a nucleic acid test was required. When asking the volunteers, she first took the initiative to inform the itinerary and reminded the volunteers to keep their distance from her. Guided by medical staff, she quickly completed the sampling.
Today, in addition to the fixed 5 sampling windows and 1 special window for the Expo, the detection point is all open, and 5 sampling windows are temporarily added, and the people receiving the test almost do not have to stay in place, that is, they will be sampled.
Tongren Hospital has opened a total of 11 testing windows, of which 5 are new windows.
According to the staff of Tongren Hospital, the hospital has launched a pre-plan measure, and the existing strength is enough to cope with the large number of testing needs of yesterday, and today it will continue to open the window and operate at full capacity. According to the requirements of the plan, hospital charges, information, sampling, specimen transportation, PCR laboratories and other departments have made full use of horsepower to ensure that the public can get the test results within 6 hours.
According to statistics, from 12:00 on October 31 to 10:00 on November 1, a total of 6,180 people at the testing point of Tongren Hospital completed sampling. The peak of the test was from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. on the 31st, and 706 people completed the sampling in one small time. From 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. this morning, another small spike occurred, with a total of 561 people sampling.
Dark night: The checkpoint is operating as usual, ushering in another peak
As the sky darkened, the checkpoints functioned as usual.
"I don't feel like I need to wait in line, I'm doing it quickly." Ms. Lin, a citizen, told reporters that she and her daughter were going back to their hometown and were required to have nucleic acid test reports.
Many families came to test, and some children were waving magic wands in their hands. They went to Disneyland over the weekend and came to have a second test on request.
"There are not many people in line, and the on-site payment is also very fast." A woman with a two-year-old daughter to test, she told reporters, yesterday in Disneyland, they had a magical night, today to do the second test, fortunately, the children are also obedient, very cooperative.
Upon request, Disney guests undergo a nucleic acid test before leaving the park, and follow the CDC's requirements to do a nucleic acid test 24 hours apart. Therefore, many citizens came to the testing point in advance and consciously waited for the arrival of the 24-hour node.
At night, the number of citizens who come to do nucleic acid testing increases, and many tourists who go to Disney on weekends come to do secondary tests.
At about 7 p.m., the number of citizens who came to the test increased, and the medical staff in the hospital guided the citizens to pay online, reduce the queuing time, and answer questions. "I made an appointment for a test at more than 8 o'clock, and I arrived early, can I test now?" "Yes." "I live far away, do I have to come back to the scene to get the report?" "You can also search and download electronic reports online."
Li Fang, deputy director of the outpatient office, told reporters that today 11 sampling windows are still open, and the number source equivalent to yesterday was released. Nearly 3,600 people have been sampled between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., and the number of samples is expected to exceed 7,000 today.
At night, the crowd of people queuing up to sample quickly passes through the aisle.
Although the number of people tested was large, there was no long queue at the scene. Li Fang introduced that most of the citizens are already familiar with online payment, after the payment is completed, the temperature measurement enters, just show the two-dimensional code in the sampling window, basically can complete the sampling within two minutes, and leave quickly.
In order to deal with possible emergencies, the treasurer, the information supervisor, and the head nurse of both departments are on duty.
Li Fang expects that from 8 o'clock tonight to the early morning, it will be today's peak testing time, "We have experience, make sufficient preparations, today the day is running smoothly, can cope with the arrival of a large number of tests." ”
